Bad report, but want to pass on in case anyone dumb enough to try this place. And I believe there are many others like it. Address is carrer de Casanova 59. Here is the google map address:

40 E entry, drinks are 60 E, I think it's 120 E for a drink for a girl. There are many hot chicks there, they are a bit pushy. Want you to buy them a drink and get you to a room (on premises). Rooms are 200 E for 30 minutes, 400 for the hour. Obviously ridicules and to be avoided. No girls do anything uncovered and the whole thing is basically pointless.

I only recommend you make an appointment in advance using whatsapp with the Farell X place because it is not really an advertised brothel like the others. You can of course just show up and push the button and see what happens, but there might not be anyone there and they might not answer.

You can use your regular phone and just delete the whatsapp messages afterwards. They are not going to contact you or sell the number or anything like that. If you are really concerned about contacting anyone, just show up at one of the big commercial brothels and get a lineup.

Sorry to be so confusing. The address they provide might well be #17 now that I look back at old posts. I thought the computer just randomly selected that address, but it probably picked it because it is the most commonly searched for address for that street.. My memory failed me. So if you book an appointment and they say #17, just look for the door just to the left of whatever number they give you. Sorry for the confusion.

None of us know for sure if our friends on Farell still use the same place, but if they do, here is the best map I could produce. Farell is a little street off of Gran Via that can be walked in its entirety in two minutes. I can't find a street view map of this area of Barcelona. Keep pushing on the flashing red icon to get more detail, but the address for the red icon is NOT the address next door to the place. The computer just generated that address because it is the best known address on this street. I always laugh when I do a street view map of brothels I have been to, since I always wonder if Google might have run their camera by while I was exiting with a smile on my face.

I am not sure it is occupied at any given minute. The standard technique appears to be to make an appointment with one (or two!) of the ladies listed as working there, and you meet her at the designated time and place. I realize this is not the standard modus operandi of most ISG guys, who go out and prowl at a whim. Me, I am a schedule oriented person, so I plan in advance.

That all having been said, it appeared from Smuler and my visits, that several ladies were in fact hanging out, so you should have some company even with an appointment.

I really had no interest in Europe, but Spain was the exception because of the language and food; thus, I had to go!

Logistics:

Flight:
The cheapest flight I found from San Diego and back was in coach for $1,400 and some change; that was on United.

Logging:
I rented a 2-bedroom apartment in a great location in Barcelona. I rented through Airbnb. It was one block from a large park and 3-4 blocks from the beach. It was high season and the apartment was 150 bucks each night.

Money:
The currency in Spain is Euros. I used the ATM at the airport to have cash on hand. The following day, I cashed in a bunch of dollars at a bank close to my place, passport was required. I used ATMs after I ran out of cash. When I was there, the exchange rate was 1 euro = 1. 14 usd.

Communication:
I started using WhatsApp on my regular phone. I started chatting with my Airbnb host before I left. As long as I had a WiFi signal, WhatsApp was free of charge. I was chatting on WhatsApp to a couple of women in Peru, as well as using Skype, video calls, to Peru. All the restaurants had WiFi and if you wanted to use their WiFi, you had to go to their Facebook page and click the "Like" button; silly, but true. Yeah, it read, "You can Like us on Facebook for free internet acess. ".

Immigration:
The plane arrived early morning in Barcelona. There was a line from hell because there were only 5 Immigration agents working the booths.

Language barrier:
Because the dominant language in Barcelona is Catalan, I was a bit nervous going there. All the signs in Barcelona are in Catalan. At the airport, signs were in Catalan, Spanish, and English. I was hoping that my crappy Spanish would help me communicate on some level; and it did. All the taxi drivers, servers, and others that I talked to, they spoke to me in Spanish; I was a happy camper.

Transportation:
From the airport and back, regular taxis were 35 euros each way.

Beaches:
There are 3 main beaches in Barcelona: Barceloneta, Icaria, and Mar Bella. There was no nudity on Icaria, some nudity on Barceloneta, and Mar Bella is a completely nude beach. Mar Bella is also a so-called gay beach. So if you guys like showing your junk; have at it! There was a lot of nude women as well. Hell, I even took off my shirt so I would not look like a complete pervert; didn't fool anyone, too old and too white!

I also did a lot of walking. It is a great city to explore on foot. A butt-load of people were riding bicycles all over town. The city has bike lanes throughout the streets and sidewalks. The city is very walking and biking friendly.

Morgan Girls, now Bacarra 2 was private only. Bacarra 2 is located near crappy Secrets.

Other venues: I researched a lot for the trip and learned that a few of the smaller places offered promotions between certain hours. Some of escort places, such as Urgell 150 had a promotion rate of 60 minutes for 60 euros between 10 am and 10 pm. Others that had promotions were Roma 122 and Muntaner 101.

Urgell 150:
I got to this place about 8 pm and when I walked in, I saw six girls. I was attacked be one of the girls, she was from the DR, and her name was Mar. I got a drink, it was 15. The place tries to sell fichas, 30 for juice, 60 for alcohol; I did not buy one when we left for the room. Thus I paid 60 plus the drink, 75 euros and off we went.

We were having a blast in the room, so time flew by quickly. I wanted more time in the room, the promotion rate was only for an hour, so I had to pay the regular rate which was 130 for an hour. I wanted to save my cash, so this is where I made my first mistake, I used my credit card. I checked the receipt, all was well.

After an another hour of playing, I was still having too much fun to stop. Mar said she had a friend that would love to join us, so I talked to mama at the door and she told me she would discount me the second girl. Second mistake, I used my credit card again! The second girl was a bit chunky, but she was a lot of fun as well.

I only used my credit card for TWO transactions. I went to use my credit card later on, and the card was denied. I called the bank and asked them what happen. I was told there were THREE recent transactions and I confirmed the first two. The third transaction was from the same place, and it was for $780 US dollars! I got ripped off by the place. After talking to the fraud department, they reversed the transaction. I got the money from the third transaction back into my account.

Farell X:
The taxi driver told me there was no such street. That was until he put the address into his fancy shamsy GPS device. I got to the street, it was not a very long street, and I started searching for the place. After 30 minutes, I felt like knocking on every fucking door and asking, "Hay algunas putas de aqu?" Sadly, I could not find the place. Sorry Smuler, I gave it my best Navy try!

Apricots:
I like their motto on their web-site, "We fuck on the first date. " They have two locations, and soon a third. I went to the Corsega 252 location. The prices are, 70 for 30,90 for 45, and 110 for an hour. Bonus, the price includes a free adult beverage! I opted for 45 minutes. Mama greets you at the door and brings you to a room. The girls that are available, come in one at a time, give you a small kiss, and tell you their name and where they are from.

I asked mama for her recommendation, and she told me Eliza, from the DR. My first thought was, "Jesus-tap-dancing-christ! Haven't I fucked enough DR chicas already? Oh well, what's one more going to hurt. " I had a great time with her. I offered up a tip if I could take pictures, but she declined; her loss. The place is very professional and clean. I would recommend the place to others.

I'm sure I missed a few places, but hopefully I will give other mongers an insight on the clubs, girls, and pricing. I did not have time to visit all the Escort places, such as Felina, La Vie en Rose, Perla Negra, or Top Damas.

Street girls:
From all that I read, the girls would hang out in Las Rumbas later in the night. I went to find some street girls around midnight on a Friday and a Saturday night; I did not see any street girls. Perhaps, they come out later in the night?

Overall thoughts on Barcelona:

I really enjoyed what this city had to offer. The food was outstanding and it was fun talking to all the girls in the clubs. I really enjoyed my time in the city and felt completely safe walking and exploring the city. The city has a lot more to offer than mongering. Including the beaches, there is so much to see, do, and of course, EAT and DRINK!

Would I ever return? Nah, I love South America too much!
