Ok so I guess mongering isn't the best when there's a holiday in BCN. I got in Friday while everyone was blowing stuff up. The fireworks and explosions went on until 400am. Everyone online agreed that Club Riviera was the best in Barcelona. The driver of the taxi I took wasn’t familiar with it, so as we got out on the Casteldafels highway and approached the 17.9 marker I wondered whether I was on a wild goose chase, but then there was a sign easily visible from the highway. The taxi cost about 3,000 pts ($15) each way from downtown Barcelona near the cathedral. Most other cabdrivers I used were familiar with it and said that it is widely known as the place to go. They are open from 5PM to 5AM. On the nights that I went there were several dozen girls mostly from Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, or Chile. Some are Russian or Polish. I did not meet any Spanish girls there.

I walked in with no hassle and no cover charge. I had read about people being made to pay a cover, and there were people standing at a window who looked like they might have been waiting in line to pay, so I walked in quickly and quietly to minimize the chance of someone looking at me and deciding that I should pay too, but I didn’t sneak in and every time I went back I walked right in and no one ever said anything. I have been to both and can explain differences. Riviera location is outside Barcelona actually closer to the airport and getting there is train, taxi or bus, all described in this section. Riviera is not near as dangerous as Help. The girls do not dance as in Help or Bahamas (SP) they stand around and my personal experience is the best ones you have to initiate. This is more like Blanco Elephante in Lisbon (another fun place with quality). Read the threads about Riviera as many posts are helpful. It is a bar with hotel rooms. Quality in Help is probably better but Riviera is very very good. I am partial to Brazilian girls and I like taking them back to the hotel after I make my selection as opposed to the on site room arrangement, but that is preference. I have arranged private meetings and days spent with girls from Riviera but it is easier and more custom in Help. Enjoy.
