Are there sort of reviews for this Club. Internet reviews are a mixed lot. Many written with agenda's so appreciate any first hand experiences. The last place I want to end-up is at where girlie drinks are priced at 50 e.

I hate to say this but Barcelona is becoming more expensive. 10 years ago 40 or 50 euros was the norm for half an hour, now seems the norm is more like 70 euros. Guess 10 years is a long time and everything goes up eventually.

I think you are right. And a little wrong. It could be interesting to share notes on this. Can you tell us a bit more more about where you visited 10 years ago and how you you were able to achieve 40- 50 E as a "norm"? And what services were included in that "norm"?

The only place I recall having 40- 50 E for hh 10 yeas ago were at the Chinese places. But those places were always at the cheap end in Barcelona, and I recall most places with EE or SA girls were 70 E /30. I have assumed the Chinese places are still around with the old prices. Have prices increased that much?

Places I frequented 10 years ago:

Typically Top Damas and Felinas were 70 E /30 back then. Today it's 65 E /30 at Top Damas, so cheaper at first glance. But upselling is worse, and I think most firsttimers would need to pay another 20 E extra for BBBJ.

The most legendary club back then; Club Riviera, was 60 E /30 (closed down in 2009).

Club Privee in Salou was 60E/30 in 2005- 09. Less than two years ago it was 70E/30 (BBBJ/DFK included), so not much has changed.

The Haima Group has several clubs in Barcelona at 50 E /30 today. Just to show that 50 E /30 still exists. BBBJ / DFK can be included without much negotiation.

10 years is a long time, and we should not be surprised that prices have gone up a little. Then again, don't forget that in this period Spain has suffered a financial crises which has kept prices down. Only in the last couple of years Spain's economy seem to rebound a little.

Reading all your replies and advice made me re-think apricots and rather go try vecinitas probably, or maybe other suggested too. But it seems like the best choice or at least the choice for most days.

Even worse than that is the last 2 years it's becoming more and more dangerous. Pick pockets like crazy. Still 1000 times safer than any major city in the states that's for sure, but it kills me to see the city getting worse and worse.

This fucking idiotic mayor in charge has 0 laws for 'top mantas' (africans selling counterfeit bags, etc in the streets) and 0 laws for pickpockets / gypsies. There are literally different gangs (4-6 at a time) of them going around at night and robbing people! A diplomat from South Korea was killed when a robbery went bad, and she fell and hit her head. Jail for a couple nights then out on the street again.

Raval is the worst neighborhood, followed by Barceloneta. I'd say if you are coming to visit steer clear of Raval for sure. Definitely do not stay there. And in the other areas near there just keep your eyes open.

Until Mayor changes, not sure how much worse it will get before it gets better.

Anyway, for mongering as always my go to sites are nuevoloquo.com and pasion.com. That's all you need.

The problem with those places is that you have to pick a girl which you've never seen before. The thought of picking the wrong girl makes me think that I've a better chance of scoring the best girl if I visit one or several of the brothels which offer line-ups.

To each his own of course, but I would rather go to a place that has an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction, where I can get trustable reviews with pictures, and that doesn't get its greatest return from upsells. The places I recommended simply get the best reviews on both boards, and they don't purchase good reviews from English writers in India, like many of the large, line-up brothels do.

Of these four, El Eden is the most likely to do some minor level of upsells, and there was one report of a lady being CBJ only.

Could use your advice guys. It might be noob question especially because I was in bcn several times already and tried few locations. But I am wondering about safety, meaning like what can happen to you besides bad service from girls.
