All of the "big brothels" such as Felinas, Top Damas, etc are in very good neighborhoods. The many independents and "boutique brothels / trick pads" that are near the Rocafort and Plaza Espanya metro stations are also in very good neighborhoods that are filled with restaurants, shops and apartments. This is in fact where the solid middle class lives. It is actually safer than Rambla and Barcelloneta because the so-called violence in Barcelona involves pick pocketing, and the "criminals" look for targets in the touristy areas. The food and shopping are better in the Rocafort / Plaza Espanya neighborhoods than in the more touristy areas because they are not price gouging the tourists.

The true agencies do not have a very good reputation and are generally 50 Euros an hour more than the independents for outcall. They seem to cater to American tourists who do no research. Many of the reviews on the big American site of the Barcelona outcall agencies are just not that positive..

My last trip to BCN I went with several friends so it was difficult to find girls that suited everyone in the brothels, so we decided to leave a few times when someone was disappointed with the lineup. But next time in late January my travel companions don't have this interest so I will be on my own and will visit especially La Vie En Rose.

Just keep in mind that Barcelona is more of an independent escort and "boutique brothel" city than it is a "huge sex club" or "megabrothel" place like areas of Germany and rural Spain, or a "outcall agency dreamland" like Montreal, Canada. I get frustrated when people on this thread criticize the place without trying its best offerings. Read the last 10 pages of this thread and you will get plenty of links and instructions for finding what you want at a reasonable price from independents and "boutique brothels".

I highly recommend you to try out TOP Dames. It's very high class in a nice area, very secure, their rooms are great and clean. The line up was great last time I was there.

I totally agree with you. However, choosing a big club over a brothel depends on your likings and how much money you are ready to pay. IMHO, brothels are worthier than big clubs, which are more turistic and expensive.

Hello So Happy, Viladomat208 is more like a bar-club similar in size as Urgell150, Roma212 etc. So it's very small with rooms upstairs but ladies are quite beautiful IMHO. Club Baccara is a "big" club not as big as Scandalo or ViveMadrid but little bigger than Flowers in Madrid but their rooms are in another building.

If you don't care about money I would say go there they have good looking girls at the moment, but honestly 150 for half an hour it's almost a robbery.

We are in full agreement looking at things in the context you describe. My point is just that 150 E / half hour is, as another gent here so nicely put it, a robbery. It's, at least, double the price as elsewhere. What do you get extra for that price? IMHO / IME: Nothing. It's just a an extra premium that I will call "tourist premium" for tourists too lazy to go to better places. Just not worth it IMHO. But to each his own.
