Hi, gents. Have just spent a great weekend in Barcelona, the 3-3 draw with Madrid was a cracker.

Saturday went into sauna Cassanova, quite early about 6 ish. No girls about but after buying a beer three girls appeared. I don't mind paying for the shag but 15 euros for the beer is a bit much. Anyway I was gagging for some action, had a hard on when I walked in. Picked a girl called Tanya, blonde Columbian. Got talked into the hour for 200 euros. Sunday night I ventured into Aribau, there were about 5 or 6 girls about, all 8's and 9's. Chatted with Monica, a dark haired Romanian, was still abit early for me so after a couple of drinks I nipped back to my hotel for a freshen up.

Went back to Aribau and Monica was all over me. Had a couple of drinks and then opred for the hald hour session at 100 euros. Had a cracking time, the 'get to know you' time we had in the bar worked wonders and I received BBBJ without asking. We ran over the half hour and the lights went out causing Monica to panic a bit but there were no problems. Saying that there were a few English in the bar and I fancied my chances with the other English lads if the bouncers started giving it the big un. Monica was superb and I would look out for her again on my next visit.

I have nothing planned at the moment but fingers crossed I will have something to report in the next couple of months with Munich being the favoured destination.

Just returned from Barcelona on the weekend 10th-11th February.

Five of us visited Club Bagdad on the Saturday night. It is a lot closer to La Ramblas than you might think. About 5-19 Minutes walk at most.

A quite unassuming place from the outside. Unfortunately it is now 90 Euros to enter, this does include a 'free' drink, but still it is quite expensive.

We took our seats around the stage, received our free drink and sat down to watch the entertainment. All the shows were of good quality and lasted on average 10 minutes.

There were plenty of floor walkers, mostly around the bar, waiting for someone to buy them a drink and discuss the whys and wherefores of a 'private' dance.
I took up the offer at 100 Euros, was lead to a booth at the back of the club, expected to tip the guy that took me there, and took my seat to be joined quite soon afterwards by my choice of Hungarian girl.

She promptly took the money and started the 'show', striptease, in the limited space.

After about 10 minutes I asked if touching was allowed, bearing in mind the price I didn't think that it was too much out of order. I was promptly asked for a further 50 Euros !!

I paid this and then all of a sudden she just about managed to stay out of arms reach for the next few minutes at least.

She then said I could masturbate if I wanted, I slightly miss heard and thought she was going to at least give me a hand, if you know what I mean, but no sign of this so I finished myself off and retired back to my colleagues.

All in all the club is at least clean, the girls are all quite high scorers, but on the down side, the entrance fee is a bit too much, the next round of drinks were charged at 15 Euros per bottle of San Miguel, far too extortionate and I don't know whether I was just unlucky with my choice of 'private dancer', or is this the norm?

I like Bagdad for the relaxed atmosphere , the show and the free BJs. I don't think 90 E for all this is too high. But I never indulge in anything else with the girl.it's like in any US strip club, as soon as you get into private dealings with any of the girls you will get rip-off..

While researching my upcoming trip to Barcelone, I came across the following article on the Barcelonareporter.com website dated 16/11/06 :-

More than one hundred people were detained by officers from the Policía Nacional and the Guardia Urbana in Barcelona during Wednesday, in a coordinated crackdown on prostitution networks based in the Raval district of the Catalan capital. Other raids and arrests took place close to Ronda de Sant Antoni.

The police operation against organised prostitution is the largest of its kind ever seen in Barcelona, with 24 separate homes raided by authorities. The properties were targeted as they were thought to house the network ringleaders, the majority of whom were Romanian, who exploited the women, many of whom were in Spain illegally.

Prostitutes working within the Ronda de Sant Antoni area would take their clients into one of the local apartments controlled by the ringleaders. The apartments were based in the older buildings located in the Raval district.

Sources from within the teams investigating the network have explained that they are not discounting the possibility of making more arrests and confirm that the majority of those so far detained are of Romanian nationality.

Among those arrested were eight people in an apartment in Calle Botella, another three in Calle Salvador, four in another property in Peu de la Creu, three in Calle de La Cera, five in Calle Ferlandina, and seven in Calle Luna 28. In total, during operations conducted throughout the day, 110 people were detained.

The operation was the culmination of an investigation launched four months ago by the Guardia Urbana, which - after it had tried to apply local bylaws which prevent street prostitution - had detected the presence of organised crime gangs specialising in prostitution.

The police were able to collect a plentiful range of documentation during the operation, as well as a quantity of drugs. The discovery of any firearms or weapons has yet to be reported.

Residents living in the Raval district, who during the past few weeks have made their complaints public and taken their protests to local authorities and the street in demonstration over the illegal activities, are reported to be feeling satisfied over yesterday’s police action. Many had described how they had felt ‘threatened’ by the presence of the pimps and prostitutes operating close to their homes.

Any comments from those "in the know" would be welcome. Are the more organised set-ups such as the Asian Houses still safe to visit?

In the meantime can someone satisfy my curiosity? - When I visited Riviera there was no delay in going to a room, but I've read here that when it gets busy you may need to wait up to an hour. My question is what happens during that time ? Do you queue up the stairs or what? It seems to me that extra time in the girl's company anticipating the action might not be a bad thing at all.

Abfab i've not been to Riviera but your question reminded of a time in Estarke 92 on the costa del sol. Many times I have had to queue with a gorgeous girl and the extra 30mins/hour is a freebie, one evening I went their and the time was bout 3am ish and it was very busy. The wait was up the stairs and the brasilian girl I was with ended up making me cum while she was wanking me on the stairs, it was an excellent result and made for a full 30 mins fucking her when we got to the room. Waited about an hour altogether and it was greeeat!!

If you are not in a hurry it can be quite a bonus especially with the right girl if you have to queue up for the room.

There are two night clubs in Aribau Street, near Santalo street. Also, There is a flat in the zone, that I think is open 24 hours. The flat is the famous Top Damas, which is well known in this forum. The clubs are New Aribau, and Pub 240. I think that both clubs charge an entry fee of about 20 euros, which includes an alcoholic drink.

Pub 240 has a certain classy atmosphere, the girls working there are indepedente escorts, they usually are around 30 years old, and they ask about 200 euros for one hour. The rooms are clean but simple (no luxury). There are about 15-20 girls.

New Aribau has the typical mix of Eastern European and South American 20-25 years old girls. Prices may be around 70-100 euros for half an hour. You have to insert coins in a machine to have the room lighted. In spite of this tacky detail, the rooms are clean but with no special confort. There are about 20-25 girls.

My advise is to go to have a drink to Pub 240 / New Aribau (depending on the kind of girl you prefer to speak to or to observe), and then go to Top Damas to have action in a very luxury and confortable room and relaxed with a generally friendly girl. Price in Top Damas is about 120 or 130 euros for one hour. You are invited to a drink (alcoholic or not).

You have 3 options:
1- Taxi - cost betwenn 30-35 Euros from central Barsa
2- Direct RENFE train from Sants station will take you about 5- 10 minutes away from Riviera
3- Train (metro), or airport shuttle to airport. Taxi to Riviera from there. I did this the last time I went and if if you're on a budget - this is a good way to go.
