Not exactly "local" but why not head in the other direction and go to Fontana? Went to Glass Palace a few weeks ago. Fairly slim pickings. Be careful to avoid the very slim blonde. Looks superb in the bar but service was poor. Her brunette friend (can't remember name but go back through the pages and you'll see my post) was so much better in the room.
