It's interesting to me how the various clubs build their business models to turn a profit. I mean how the bar / club owner makes his money, not the girls. It seems to me there are 4 potential revenue streams that an owner can access: club entry / cover, drinks and food, rooms (if available) and finally taking a percentage of the girls earnings.

Pigmalion doesn't charge a cover, there are no rooms (so no revenue there) and from what I gathered they don't charge the girls to work there, although they must have some sort of selection criteria based on looks. So Pigmalion charges hella escarole for drinks (25-35 €). Both nights I was there I spent about 100 € just on alcohol and could've spent a lot more than that. If you sit with a girl for any length of time, the barkeeps will come over and 'suggest' you buy her a drink. One night I was there I chatted up a thin Paisa who looked like a young Jessica Alba. Not normally my type but I was intrigued. In the 15 minutes it took to determine her service level (CBJ sadly, a deal breaker) I got hooked for a whiskey for her at 33€ and a glass of wine for me at 25. Expensive interview. I'm doing a world tour of the best puta clubs so naturally Vive was on the list. Vive initially looked very promising. It's quite spacious (120 m2?) compared to the small quarters that I just experienced at Aphrodesia in Zurich. Think a mid-range strip club in a major US city. The overall looks and ratio of girls was also encouraging. Plenty of 8's and about twice as many girls as punters. I also appreciated that the place was fairly well lit and the second hand smoke levels were tolerable. As an aside, I found the second hand smoke in Switzerland to be the worst I encountered, odd for a country seemingly obsessed with health and cleanliness.

You pay 18 euros at the door, which allows you a drink. I asked for a scotch and I must say the pour was quite generous (a double at least) so it was pretty fair. You walk in and there's an island bar in front of you and then a 3 sided bar behind that. Around the whole floor is various VIP couches and booths, which were mostly empty. The entrance to the transitorio where you go with the girls is to your left.
