There have changes in Switzerland, good news for travellers the number of countries where you have to quarantine after arriving has been reduced from over 60 to 4 countries plus some parts of France. Discos and night clubs have to close but it seems sex clubs can stay open but have to close at 11 pm each day.

Today will be announcement of new C19 rules in Germany (and / or the different Regions / Bundeslander).

The rumour is that next week (from November 4th onwards) all bars, cafs, clubs, etc have to close down in Germany:

Does anyone know what is the process at the airport once you land in Zurich?

Zurich airport site has a list of countries and states that if you are coming from those, you are required to quarantine. It seems like they are allowing for arrivals from excluded countries irrespective of your passport as long as you've spent 10 days or more in that country.

Unfortunately I plan to spend less than 10 day in one of the excluded countries and am wondering how will I be treated at the airport? Would they even allow entry and how would they enforce quarantine? That begs another question and that is how is the quarantine enforced with so many surrounding regions being on the list right now?

Anyway, if anyone has landed at Zurich recently and got in, I am curious to know what was the entry process like and what questions did they pose, if any.

I assume Sirioja means the standard SMS every foreigner receives when crossing the border and entering CH. Got the same SMS last few times when I entered CH, it is kind of standard message with link to BAG phone number and website.

Nothing about my visits at Globe, but I didn't receive when I entered Switzerland but on next day between Zurich and Umbrail to Stelvio. Didn't receive on this Friday between Basel and Zurich. Maybe because quarantine as I was told if You stay more than 24 hours in Switzerland. I don't plan to. Waiting for Verbier of course, for my free ride final on Mont Gelé Verbier side, when was closed on April.

After receiving sms from BAG info when I was driving through and knowing a bit about Swiss administration trying to steal foreigners, I called public health federal office to ask them about quarantine. No quarantine when only driving through and staying less than 24 hours in Switzerland. Of course, can be different for airports and hotels. Car is the safest about virus.

Local forum speculates it's reduced service as on website now it's written "30 min service" vs " 30 min full service" on e. G. Globe website.

Still, am sure the ads will draw some crowds there this weekend.

I think it's a hint that they are targeting Club Olymp (relatively close) as their competitor.
