Hello my friends!

I know this might be a little bit off topic but has anyone lately read the worldwide bestselling novel by Brazilian writer Paolo Coelho "11 Minutes" ("once minutos" in Portuguese). It deals a lot about rue de Berne in Geneva, the Champagne bars there and a Brazilian prostitute who on average has sex for (only) about 11 minutes per customer. Sorry for this innocent question: But how does the actual rue de Berne compare to the one described in the book? Did he (Coelho) get the prices right (i.e., 300 CHF for a 45 minutes session in a hotel etc.). I'm just curious.
Hope I didn't offend anyone with this maybe silly question but: hey - at least you know now what to read on your plane / train en route to Geneve. Right?!?

I'm certainly no expert, but there is some good advice from numerous people on the Zurich board.

I don't do FKK etc.... but only really try to bargain beautiful cabaret dancers into bed for minimal costs... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and "cost" depends on two things, a) your drunkeness and b) the amount of blood running away from your brain whilst you are negotiating!

I used to be lucky like "theknight" in Geneva, but seem to have lost the golden touch recently. He has now taken over as the King of Geneva.

The main difference between FKK and shagging a cabaret dancer is that you are most likely to be the first guy the cabaret dancer shags that night, often for a day or two even. Its personal choice and personal preference, no judgement, just my choice. Its also more of a GFE when you get to "click" with the girl, and of course if you are as skilled as theknight at the negotiations then when you get a freebie it is really something to behold since the girls "expect their moneys worth in other forms!"
(i.e. You have to damn well perform in bed!)

The quality of girls in cabarets tend to be much higher than those in the "salons", but I have heard that places in the German speaking Switzerland like Zeus and Sakura are also full of quality girls. See Zurich section etc. (but you have to shag them in front of a crowd...not my scene I'm afraid!)

I do not know of any FKK in Switz, but I've only been to Zurich couple of times. Swiss Tiger is more of an expert on that region I believe, but that's for another board anyway!

300 for 3 hours is what I;ve had a couple of times, and once 400 for one girl once and then her mate joined in second time. So it can be done. No hidden extras, I guarantee. OWO is highly unlikely; but twice I've been granted it, both times on second or third round after I'd spent a long time on them, massage, DATY etc. After drink from minibar and a good licking they really warmed up!

I think secret is definitely treating them well. And, most importantly, bargain for TIME as well as cash at the initial discussions. I only set price first couple of times and they were getting dressed about 3 minutes after I came! When you've got lowest price you can, say you expect her to stay 2 or 3 hours. Then there's no misunderstanding. Good luck.

Someone told me that FKKs exist in the German speaking cantons. The FKK nudist thing is popular with Germans.

CBGB, Yes I have been to FKK. Twice, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. A couple of years ago now, admittedly, but I understand they have got worse recently.

I see the merits of FKK, undoubtedly, but to be honest I think Spanish nightclubs are definitely better. And I have been to many throughout Spain. In fact much, much better. Far more choice, similar interior, and usually much cheaper. As I said earlier I also find Germany induces cold sex, but that's just my opinion. Given a German FKK night, or a night with Gva cabaret girl I'd have chosen FKK (despite indifferent experiences) every time until last year. However, having learned (often the hard way), and tried to post my experiences, I'd now choose cabaret as often. If I wanted different partners throughout a night I'd go for FKK, and there are times when I do.

However, in reality there are no FKKs in Gva, therefore there's no point in posting about them here! It's all about opinions, sharing experiences. Your post won't have helped anyone in, or visiting Geneva, but my post may do so. If you were trying to encourage me to get a cheap flight or long train from Gva to S.Germany to test the FKK waters, fair enough, but been there, done that, and when I'm working in Gva, it's not an option!

No hard feelings I hope. How about you - have you had a model type "10" from a cabaret for 300ChF (c. Eur 190) for 3 hours. Does this not compete with quick 20-minute FKKs, plus their 50Eur entry fee? If you bought champagne and got ripped off with nothing but a few kisses from a beauty..... well then you should've read the WSG forum first! Ciao

theknight, have you ever visited a German FKK club? If you want to have quality time in Germany AVOID the Eros centers and visit a nice FKK club.

Theknight is "bang on the mark" with his report... excellent advice for all who visit Geneva. (I just wish I could keep sober enough to follow it sometimes!)

As a small addition I suspect that the number of working girls in cabarets is actually much larger.... I know that Zurich offers out 700 "dancing visas"....so at any one time there are 700 (plus illegals) dancing in cabarets in the Kanton of Zurich. Thats a hell of a lot, especially considering they rotate monthly and leave every 6 months.

There are also certain Kantons like St Gallen who do not give out "dancing visas" to Non EU girls, so in short No Russains No Ukranians No Brazilians and No Santa Domingans....

Another quick mark I found is that many cabarets now refuse to serve coffee.... i.e. if they keep you oiled they have more chance of getting you to buy champagne...as I found to my cost...

I have to agree Switz seemed to be a rip off....at first. However, the sex I have had in Geneva has been among the best anywhere, certainly better than Germany where P4P is often cold in my experience. Particularly special in Switz were my last two conquests, one of which remains private, but was P4P before you question.

Also, getting 2-3 hours for 300 ChF, which is about $230 or GBP130, with top class girls, is surely not a rip off. There must be 150 girls working the various cabarets in Geneva, and 90% are under 25, many top class hot Eastern Europeans.

I agree the street scene, and the champagne bars are woeful. Street scene is flat 100ChF for 20 mins max, and as Swiss T wrote, frankly full of old hags. The champagne bars are to my experience also overly populated by older, or less attractive, woman. Also here it tends to be much harder to fix deals with the girls because they're watched like hawks.

My advice for a good, well priced time is:
1) Sleep well before venturing out about 2am. If you time it right and check the showtimes you can catch two or even three "spectacles"/floorshows before the clubs shut.

2) When you enter 1st cabaret have a quick look at the quality of girls - if poor leave immediately. There's no obligation to stay and too much competition to stay at a bad bar.

3) Buy just one beer (between ChF16 and ChF22) - pricey enough. All the girls will one by one come over to you and get round to asking for a drink. When you see a girl you want explain you were only here for the strip show. Gently mention you may like company when the club shuts. Some girls flatly refuse, others quoted me 1000 at first, but on last visit the opening offer tended to be 500. The difficult bit for me is bargaining - you may offend irretrievably by starting at 100, but the lowest so far I know of is my own 200. When quoted I just now say "I have nowhere near 500!" Make a note of her price and get her phone number, which must be done discreetly, as you're cutting the club out of the equation. Say you'll call, or SMS, the girl at 5.05

4) Go to next cabaret and repeat the drill. Now you'll know the price and quality of girl you have on standby!

Beware - I left my cellphone on last time and it started ringing like crazy at 0520 just as I was on the job! I forgot I'd given my number to a couple of girls! Usually I put it on silent, and also if I miss calls I SMS back sometimes next day to say sorry I fell asleep and quite often I've had a good response and offer to meet again!

Finally, I must add I do tend to buy the best looking girls I'm negotiating with a cocktail (c.ChF50). It's my little reward for the club on having the best girl(s).

So I often now have cell numbers for 4 or 5 really good lookers who will be happy to see me for 300 or 400. I don't need to visit bars at all. However with girls changing around every month, visas running out, and new arrivals from the east all the time I usually cannot resist at least one late night trawl through the cabarets.

So on an average trawl, I may visit 6 clubs, buy 4 beers for me (80ChF), 2 cocktails (100ChF), and get 3-4 numbers and prices. This could set me up for the week, with maybe 1 x 200, 2 x 300 and 1 x 400. So for ChF1380, or just over $1000, or £600, you can have 4 different top quality girls for at least 90 minutes each on successive days (some may visit before cabaret starts at 9pm) - which is better than anywhere in the US, and beats virtually all western capital cities I've visited. In London you'd struggle for 3 x one hour sessions.

By the way, on my last visit I 'discovered' Le Petit Palace, which has a mixed floorshow. Fully nude female (found at last), then male stripper, then they both return together. It certainly pulls in the punters, very mixed male-female crowd, good atmosphere and packed on a Tuesday when I went. Definitely recommend if there's two or more of you, otherwise you may feel a little, err...lonely!

Finally Ba-Ta-Clan is I think the club where almost all the girls claim they're watched and have their flat entrances monitored by CCTV which club owner installed. I struck lucky once, but on recet visit a gorgeous Ukrainian took a lot of persuading to come down to 400, wouldn't come to my hotel, and then told me I'd have to buy champagne for her to be allowed by club! Club quoted 500 - they came down to 300, but I offered just a cocktail for the manager (50). he was insulted, but I said "take it or leave it - you'll get nothing if I leave now". He didn't move, so I left! No floor show while I was there either, so I won't be back!

There also appears to be a new(ish) lap dance place called l'Aigle de ....(I forget).... which is next to the Confederation center near Brasserie Lipps... Rue de Rotisserie.
I walked past it during the day and they were advertising outside with the standard "Strip-club fake Dollar bills" and pictures of the girls (which were ok).

I'll maybe try that next time, since if they are using the strip club bills then there might be every chance they do a full strip.... any experience from anyone here would be appreciated?

In any case I still advise people to check either the photos outside the clubs to avoid disappointment when you go in, or check the clubs website (if you know your favourites' webaddress).

The street scene in Geneva has definitely gone down hill. Wandering around drunk at night I saw about 10 different girls, none of whom could have been less than 40 years old, and with terrible lined faces and overweight bodies! Not my scene at all, and actually quite off-putting.

The cabaret scene is as usual, except my drunkeness assisted me in failing badly in my plan to get a freebie, and assisted me even more in my INability to perform once I had convinced a pretty Bulgarian to take me home!

Actually I was not impressed by the quality of the girls on this visit except one Brazilian, and one Russian in Bagheera who recognised me from a previous visit 4 months ago (damn these girls are getting good at recognising me!).
Even my Bulgarian was below par for me! (She was from Le Must by the way but it was 5am and I was drunk so thats my excuse!).

There is a new club called Sensi on Rue de Neuchatel in the RLD, which was busier than most I had visited for a while, which either means the locals are tired of the others, or they advertise well.
In any case there appeared to be a great "separe" area downstairs where you get "free" private shows (if you buy a bottle of champagne for CHF290+)..... I didn't partake since I was feeling very ropey and off colour from the night before!

Lets hope that next month brings better quality with it.

Yes it was all freebies except for first night/morning. To tell the truth I had forgotten about the ChF300 by the morning anyway. I was already convinced we'd get it on for free next time, I just think a) she somehow retained more integrity taking the francs, and b) she could do with the money.

All in all 3 excellent, long sessions, and quality social time as well. She made no effort to exploit me, force me to buy her drinks/meals etc, except for the minibar LOL !!! Probably best she's left town - had another SMS tonight! A genuine GFE at last!

Got back recently from another, slightly longer trip to Geneva.

The guys I were with insisted on going out a lot, or drinking at hotel bar, so mongering was very limited.
