Thanks for your great report. I mostly agree with what you have to say. It adds a little bit of variety to my FKK trips (Globe, Sharks, Oase) since the girls are dressed and keep something for the imagination. On my off days when I feel like I can't do 2 girls on a day because of continuous FKK days, it allows me to have no pressure of making the entrance fee worth it as I can leave if I don't find anyone I like with no loss, and get some chill at the hotel. If I did end up taking a girl on that day, it would still cost around the same as a day at Globe (95 + 140 vs 280).

The only downside is that since I am visiting from the US, I only pack casuals (jeans, t shirt) and feel a little out of place when the others are all in suits (at least on the day I was there).

I'm a local, and I've always been casual dressed when I went to Aphro. I used to live in NYC, and so my version of casual dress is very much "unkempt Diesel, etc".

I was amused at how some of the girls there looked at me in horror and disdain because of how I was dressed. But I was happy they did so, as I could then cross them off my list. Either they were uncool and pretentious, or they were long timers there who want only local suit wearing clients who just want a quicky before heading home to the wife and are likely easy clients to please.

No need to feel self-conscious about not wearing a suit, just as long as what you're wearing is clean.

If you have to watch your budget carefully then surely it's Globe each time. And clearly if I flew into Zurich and had one night it would be Globe. But if I had three nights, say, and sufficient bank to splurge a bit, I'the enjoy two nights at Globe sandwiching a party night at Aphrodisia!*.

For "the rest" of the experience, Aphrodisia wins. More girls available and even though I think they are equally pretty at both venues having them all packed in a tight space is intoxicating. And they all want you none of the aloof walk-by of Globe. They all try to make eye contact.

Your experience reflects mine too though last time I went I got hooked and went back three times in the same day!! My credit card wasn't happy!! But I was!! From what I hear the only other comparable places (comparing like to like) are Maxim in Vienna and Babylon in Vienna and Klagenfurt though they are meant to be even more upmarket! Come to think of it there is a similar place in a Munich too but I forget the name right now! And you mentioned Manhattan bar in Shanghai. Someone mentioned some place in Macau too once and it seems some of the top Moroccan clubs are similar too?

Don't know of any in the USA, except maybe Vegas where every bar is a contact bar. This format is popular in Brazil. In Sao Paulo, Scandalo is tops. We were just discussing this in the Globe thread where we compare Globe, Aphrodisia, and Scandalo. If you are a serious enthusiast you must try So Paulo and Scandalo amongst others.

PS I was like you at Aphrodisia. I thought I'd just go once to see how it is. But it's a ton of fun so I had to spurge on round two.

First, they are completely different experiences. If the in-room experience is the whole thing you are after, then Globe hands down. I don't think you will get a more consistent full experience with all the trimmings than at Globe. Even though I stacked the deck a bit with your recommendations (thanks fellas!) I was three for three in the room at Globe, which is impressive.
