zurich cabarets

ok well now i am nearly a local and seem to spend half my time in zurich these days, over the last three nights i have decided to venture into the cabarets, just for the information and benefit of the forum, i must point out, and in no way for my own enjoyment.

please note these are all in the central area around old town.

schwarzer chessel a grotty, club up stairs, on entering the club there is a bar a small dance area and sat at the bar the night i went in there where 3 thai girls and one moldovan, thai girls are not my thing, but the moldovan was on my radar based on her looks, but on interview she turned out to be a crank. club 4/10 girls 5/10

nightclub calypso not more than 20 meters from the first club, this club is quite nice with a mix of thai and moldovan and ukrainian girls, most of them pushy. club 5/10 girls 6/10

le club venus another 40 meters down the road you enter this small club, but the quality of girls is very high with at least a few stunners, girls from ukraine, moldova, russia and dominican republic. club 8/10 girls 8/10

cabaret dolce vita is right across the road from venus with just wall to wall ukrainian girls some quite pretty but dot up to the standard of venus club 8/10 girls 7/10

moulin rouge is again just 30 meters further won the road`, has a fun attitude of girls, with one of memorable note girls from moldova and ukraine

imperium is around 50 meters from moulin rouge has some nice girls mostly ukrainian and moldovan. the club is small, and really i quite like the place. girls 8/10 club 7/10

maxim is a few more roads down from imperium signs on the outside are in russian as well as english and german, when entering the place is very smart , with girls all from guess where....... yes you guessed it ukraine and moldova. club 8/10 girls 7/10

tabaris has some real babes the place is oddly set out but the standard of girls is very high most from ukraine and one from domincan republic as far as i met. club 8/10 girls 9/10

king's club what a nice place they even charge you 10 ch to get in, quality of girls very high. club 8/10 girls 9/10

ok my general notes:

beer is what i drank in all the places the price of a single beer varied from 16 to 26 ch franks.

pushy girls, as they get paid for the drinks you buy, for me i bought a few drinks for a few girls, but overall the clubs i bought no more than 4, for sure no more than just a lady drink.
most girls push for expensive drinks i can understand that, but some become quite nasty with it.

for those who know me i lived in ukraine for over two years and so when talking to ukrainian girls i have a good grip on mentality and have now three girls on speed dial on my cell phone, and that will do for a month until they get swapped around and we can check them all out again as they get moved from club to club each month.

this morning i get a call at 4am from a girl who wants to come round after work, to keep me company... who am i to refuse?

As a novice to the club scene I hope you can give me some pointers.

1. I will be hoping to get to the club at about 22hrs on Tuesday night, will there still be much action at that time mid-week?

2. When not seeing one of the girls, is it relaxed enough to just sit, chill out and take it all in?

3. Will I cope with GCSE French and nearly non-existant German?

4. How easy to get a taxi back to central Zurich when the club closes? I don't want to be rushing for the last train.

5. The pictures on the website are heavily airbrushed - but I would be right in thinking that there will be some real stunners?

6. Finally, do you get hasseled into buying the girls highly marked-up lady drinks - my budget for the evening will not stretch to that.

1. Yes it will be busy! I was there on Monday afternoon and it was jumping.

2. Yes time to relax, most of the girls are not pushy what so ever.

4. The trains run very late i believe, but i am sure the reception could book you a cab no problem.

i must say it was a wonderful first visit. i was afraid to be a little disappointed because of the very high expectations but i was not deceived a bit. the place is neat and correct. decoration my not be its strongest asset but it does not disturb you at all. access a bit tricky from train station but made very simple thanks to the info provided here in the forum. spent several hours inside and never had a chance to get bored.

I decided to take the good Dr's advice and try out the BumsAlp.
All an all I think it is in the same league as the Globe although I would rate the Globe a bit higher.
How you get there?
Tram Number 7 or the local train will take you to Steetbach Bhanhof and from there walk 5-10 min or take bus 796 or 787 to Ringstrasse station. Warning: there are works on the road so the bus route has changed a little. You go on Lagerstrasse and you are there.
Setup
Regular FKK. Lower floor: Dressing room, private rooms, sauna. Upper floor: girls, bar, restaurant.
Action
Eat all you want drink all you want. i drank cola and switched to vodka on the rocks, the vodka was high quality. The food was not bad as you told earlier: not a culinary highlight but a good sandard meal, when you eat you can imagine how you are saving yourseld at least 20-30 CHF for a meal in Zurich.

At Monday 15:00 there were 20-30 firls 5-10 cutomers. The general quality was good 8's with some 9-10s too. - not that it is important but the bathrobes in the Bumsalp are red; in Globe they are white (has been long time since I've been there)
