Thanks for your extensive reports Cartman. Pity you did not seem to have a good time in Globe.

I was there at the same day as you, and also noticed the leather looking man with the 3 girls LOL.

Recognize some of the things you wrote, but a real pity you did not go to the room with a girl, because that is the best asset of Globe (not the entrance price, the lack of free food, etc). The best piece of advice for a Globe newbie is to get in there early i.e. by 1 pm at the latest. By doing so you get to maximize your chances of seeing the full line up of the tagesplan on the day. For those who don't know, Dubendorf is a little (industrial-looking) suburb of Zurich. Google maps showed a few ways to get there, including street tram and train. The Tram time was about 15 minutes longer than the train time, so we took the train -- I think the S9 or S12 or something (again, Google Maps had the right ones). There is a tram (12?) from the train station that seems to stop near both places, but I had no idea how to buy a ticket or tell it to stop. So we walked.

Club Life is in a buildng that also appears to house a piano repair shop. Inside it is all red velvet and neon. When we showed up at 4 pm we were the only guys there. Probably about 12 girls, maybe a few more. The manager was a slim, brunette Romanian quite cute actually. I tried to get her to do a program but she wouldn't. Yes, I did read the forums. When I saw lukewarm reviews of Globe I balanced it against what I had been told by PM:

"I have never seen so many 10's in one place. ".

"at Globe you definitely will rub shoulders with the ultra rich. ".

These things lead me to believe it would be full of the blonde, busty inflated-barbie types that are being called out on instragram and sites like www.tagyoursponsor.com and www.tagthesponsor.com.

I also tended to value the Globe reviews higher than the Aphrodisia reviews, which may have been a mistake. I didn't realize Aphro wasn't open on Sunday so kind of shot myself in the foot on that one.

You may want to try New Blue Up in Pfäffikon. Different style. Lower prices. Not the same line-up like Globe, but much more quieter.

I had really high hopes for Globe. Maybe it was an off night (though Saturday shouldn't be).
