I was going to stay at the Sorrell Hotel Sonnental in Dubendorf since its near Globe to save on late night taxis. However its a bit deserted in that area v. City center.

Are there other Hotels in city center to recommend $175/ nt.

There is some debate here in the forum as to how hot the stunners there are and their services but at least you get to have some free alcoholic drinks and some serious eye candy if you drop by. Globe and the Airport are in zone 121, but zone 110 covers the city centre and surrounds. To have a day pass that covers both costs 13.20 (zone 110 counts as two zones for fare calculations).

Thanks,. I was mixing up 110 and 121, so when you arrive on airport, stay in good hotel in 121 and visit Globe, Bumsalp, etc, you only travel in one zone (121) and the tickets are little cheaper (but hey, compared to one extra session with a girl it is nothing))).

Per advice I have decided to make it a 4 day trip arriving after 12 h flight, 6 pm Wed and mongering Thur-Sat.

Savings of -1 day (Sun) and hotel, taxi, will be better spent on sessions.

Alternative: if you take a hotel in 110 region, a 24 hours ticket costs CHF 8. 90, which you can start using from the airport already.

Indeed better to make 1 or 2 days off and don't go 4 days in a row. You will not enjoy it so much as alternate day clubbing IMHO.

I have decided to start my mongering career at Globe.

My recent trip (see below) was Wed-Sat and taught me I still need to pace myself much better (and, as I've been there now on several trips, I should know better). just read most of the (pricing) info here, and it is kind of rep001tered (why there is no separate globe thread, and one for bumsalp, and other zurich clubs, like in the german forum?) but this is what i got:
