Club Diskret is at 10 Leonhardstrasse, a steep climb through the Altstadt from the Hauptbahnhof, but certainly walkable within 15 minutes by walking up Central, Weinbergstrasse, and Weinbergfussweg. One can also take the funicular rail known as the Polybahn.

The entrance to Club Diskret is on the side of the building. Inside there is a steel locked door with the letters CD. I pushed the buzzer and was admitted. Down two flights of stairs is a lounge. The bartender did not speak English and my German still was not sufficient to negotiate the transaction. One of the working girls explained to me the menu. For CHF150, I get to choose one of the girls for a half-hour. An hour is CHF300. Anal is CHF100 extra. Other extras are listed on the website. The money is paid to the girl and there is no cover charge.

There were a couple of Asians (Thai?) and four Europeans working at that time. Upstairs was Real Prive. There were five European women working, all noticeably older than the women at Club VIP and lackluster in appearance. The cost was CHF100 for 15 minutes, CHF150 for 30 minutes and CHF300 for an hour. Time was running out for me and I had to leave. Also, my session with Nina at Club Diskret left me quite satisfied. None in the current line-up seemed worth the CHF100 for a quickie, and I didn't have time or money for more than that, but looking at the website it seems like coming back later might be worthwhile.

As has been covered many times, Switzerland is an exepensive place to hobby, particularly in comparision to the FKK and other scenes in DL.

Swiss clubs are, I understand, feeling the pinch or high costs, strong franc and yes, the financial crisis has reduced the number of visting firemen partaking.

I was informed that one club recently introduced an innovative initiative, sounds a bit of an oxymoron for set in their ways Switzerland.

I am referring to the once top and probably first major sauna club in Switzerland. Zeus between Zurich and Lucerne in Kussnacht am Rigi.

This club has been reported on in past times, including by me, but little recently. It shines on facilities- swimming pools, saunas, decent food in the evening and particularly well run, safe and absolutely spotless. The girls though have over the years. I may have visited perhaps once every 18 months or so for the last 4-5 years, prior to that more regularly become fixtures on the tageskarte, same faces, nothing too special and sliding down the attractiveness scale. One or two diamonds had been ferreted out as is sometimes the case for a few great sessions.

In any event, with a free afternoon on my hands and in the Lucerne area I took it upon myself to check o0ut the on-going Action being held by Zeus to perk things up.

The Deal.

Simply, the deal is arrive anytime from 12:00 opening time and leave anytime before 5:30.

The all inclusive price is CHF 150- that covers:

Entrance price (usual CHF 70 – this price though covers from opening to close and a buffet dinner, usually decent quality) ,

Warm sandwich and a drink,

Use of the swimming and Jacuzzi pools, saunas etc as usual.

An oh yes, ½ hour with the girl of your choice is included. (normally CHF 120)

As can be seen, a decent saving and if desired, swim, sauna, snack and ½ hour zimmer time for CHF 150 all up and a nice way to spend an afternoon.

In my research, I was somewhat surprised that all but one 'old face' had left the scene and replaced by about 14 girls who had on average moved up the scale at least a notch or in some cases two.

Not absolute knockouts but a good selection of 7-8`s and several knocking or through the 9 door. Excess was overall impressed with the lineup for an afternoon as reinforcements were coming for the evening shift, possibly boosting the appeal scale further.

Since I had paid my research fee of CHF 150 after enjoying the saunas and pool, I felt compelled to sample the wares. A number of attractive options were on offer. Sprinhling of Romanians of course, but a higher quality level than sometimes observed, a Russian and Latvian here or therer, Brasilianas, one from the Dominican Republic etc. The barmaid was looking good and very spirited, not on the menu sadly, but later learned from her that she was ½ Slovak and ½ Hungarian which explained Excess` attraction and antenna going off.

There is no hard sell at Zeus which is pleasant but girls are allowed to approach – a happy medium for those who perhaps don`t like one or other of the FKK extremes.

After conducting some couch interviews, I hit upon a very pleasant Romanian girl Sina – she is on the Zeus website and the others listed there were mostly in attendance in the afternoon.

Is the quality better?

The quality is definitely not better. In fact it is the same as the same girls work in this club as work in the less expensive ones over the border. In some respects the quality is worse as the girls who are available are usually the poorer ones, as the good girls are often constantly busy, and the management can be very rude and unhelpful.

There are good girls at Globe, however these are often not available on the floor of the club as they are permanently booked out by regulars at the club who telephone in advance. I suggest that anyone who wants to get the best out of this club reads the reviews of the girls on the Swiss forum and does the same.

Is the quality better?

Depends which qualities you're referring to.

Optical Quality.

There is some filtering of the girls in terms of aesthetics, so I would argue that the average optic quality is higher in Globe than say Oase. Obviously you can avoid the less attractive girls at Oase and have the same aesthetic quality for a lot less in Germany.

Service Quality.

In Oase you pay 50 Euro for up to 30 minutes of standard service whereas in Globe it's around 115 Euro for a fixed 30 minutes plus couch time. Service standards are generally quite controlled, mandatory kissing, but with careful selection I would expect the same service with girls I select at Oase.

I think that the management's quality control is stronger at Globe, but anyone with any nous should be able to acquire the same quality in Hessen for less than half the price.

With the present exchange rate it's possible for the girls to make significantly more money in Globe than across the border, but the strict working environment leads to a lot of burnout. The shifts can be very long with the girls quite often required to work from 11-3 Thurs. Sat. As a consequence I think the girls don't always net as much as they expect to as they end up with high bar bills, they have to use the in house restaurant, and they have some not insignificant fines for arriving late, leaving early etc.

Paying with credit card is fine, but they do slap on a hefty "service charge" so I would recommend going cash only. Ended up meeting a hot German girl a few months and she was very relaxed.

Good experience but slightly too expensive. As the Swiss are starting to find out in a very painful way, the strength of the local currency is starting to seriously hurt many businesses and I do not think Globe is an exception.

Are there any clubs in Zurich which have a free entry system. Atleast one can go there to have a relaxed atmosphere. Then one can pay for the services availed. The issue comes when it is required to pay 70-80 CHF for just entry. Please let me know if there are clubs with a free entry or may be as decent as 10-20 CHF. I guess there is the King's Club which has no entry fee. May be you'll can enlighten me about this club or some other bars where atleast I don't have to pay for taking a seat or seeing girls. I pay only for services I avail.

After a heavy night on the sauce last night, I sat at work nursing a hangover and decided there was only one cure, so took the train to oerlikon and walked to club rouge.

It's about half the size of globe, was 90 chf entry which included a meal and ALL DRINKS. So got changed and had a free beer, was approaded by a few girls, the went for A sauna.
