First all, thank you to all for the immense sharing on the forum which has helped mongers like me who are venturing into Swiss for the first time. I have already got some good help from the Zurich forum but will concentrate my questions on primarily Lausanne here:

Where is the red light area in Lausanne, I seen Rue de Geneva, but that is a long road.

Use Club MAD on Rue de Geneve as your starting point and head west until you hit a fork at Ecole Professionelle where Rue de Geneve continues to your right and Rue de Sébeillon to your left. Just over the border from Sargans to Vaduz, about 100 m in Liechtenstein there is a real rocker-bar.
