I also want to share my experience and also learn something. To be honest I am not very experienced in these stuff. Few months ago I went to a bar in the dedeman strict, its name was Konte or Korte. Gentlemen, allow me to give you a brief update on the scene in Ankara:

Basically the only places to go to these days are "Avlu" and "Pikolo", next to the Dedeman Hotel. All other clubs suck, respectively are closed. Avlu and Pikolo were the only places I could find decent chicks to take to the hotel during the Ramadan.

Pikolo has renovated; apparently the owner invested 100.000 Euro into the place. It does look better than before, but the toilets are still as they were in the past. At least they installed a proper ventilation system now. The girls in there are, as you know, my favourites, but still Avlu is worth a visit.

In Avlu they raised the prices, so you pay 25 YTL for your beer now; in Pikolo it is still "just" 20 YTL.

I assume the girl's beer is 40 YTL, respectively 30YTL in Pikolo. Therefore make sure, that you ONLY call the chick over you wanna take home after, as you are supposed to pay every girl you talk to a beer.

There is a pretty good chick, called ESRA in Pikolo. She is an Azeri-Turk and knows what she is supposed to do in the sack.

well johnny... nothing new, but still sad. there are not so many russian girls in the "contact bars" in ankara, but you will find nearly only russians in the so called "pavyon" in ankara. "pavyon-girls" are hard to get into the sack, so those chicks are actually "safe".

I just want to first say that I don't know anything about Turkey's sex industry
and am posing this question from that standpoint. I've never been to Turkey

You guys are both right, it is pretty bad in Ankara these days. The prices in Pikolo have increased to 15YTL per beer (20 for the girl), so Cenghas got ripped off. I dont like the new owner/bar staff of Pikolo, they are wankers. On the other hand, the girls are better in Pikolo than they are in Avlu these days. You should have checked out the other bars very close to the Avlu (see previous reports in this thread). I am not saying that they would have been any better but who knows.
