On a recent trip to Ankara few months back, I visited all of these 3 bars around Dedemen Hotel. Can't remember which one was which but Avlu and Piko are almost next to one another. One of them was really pushy and they saw me as fair game. The other (which I believe was the one with the entrance leading to a bar downstairs) had much more reasonable prices, friendlier staff, and with better looking women. If you go there, just go in both bars, you'll instantly know which one is which.
1001 was a different story altogether. It had that sleezy Turkish nightclub look with these "Midnight Express" looking bouncers at the door which makes you think twice before you enter the door.
For exclusive Eastern European stock, Istanbul seems to be the place. I had an excellent few hours with a Moldovan beauty there on a previous trip.
Overall, verdict for Ankara: DEAD BORING
However, I did enjoy a night out in the town with some of the younger crowd from the local office. The girls were damn hot and I thought some were giving out signals. But did not dare to take it further, afraid of my willy to get chopped by an angry Turkish boyfriend or father.

I dont know of any "Eastern Block Girls ONLY" place in Ankara. Usually theses girls hang out in Antalya and Istanbul, since Ankara is more a city of civil servants who dont make too much money.

As recommended last week I went to 1001 in Ankara. The sceen is OK. The girls are 6-7 all Turklish. I tend to prefer E. Europeans to Turks. However Itook out a woman for 2 hours TL150 million. If u stand infront of the Dedeman Hotel (facing it), you will see "Avlu" and "Pico" on the right hand side.

Last weekend I went to another place called "2001 Gece", which is located left to the Dedeman. You just walk down the street and take the second road left. "2001 Gece" is located at the corner. I was suprised to see that this place has prettier girls than Avlu and Piko these days. The price is 150 million TL for 2 fucks.

The rules are the same as in all other bars; you buy the girl a drink and take her to your hotel. (I dont remeber the prices, but I think it is like 5 million for your beer and 10 or 15 million for her's).

Be aware that nearly everyone wants to be tipped in "2001 Gece"; the guy at the gardrobe, the guy at the toilet, the guy that opens the taxi door, etc... Just tell them to f*** off.

I will be in Ankara soon and wondering if the choice is only limited to the two bars mentioned before (Avlu and Pikolo). Can a fellow hunter kindly give an update on the Ankara scene please?

I was in Ankara last week and with the limited time I had I went to Kitti. There were 6-8 girls all Turkish ranging 5-7. Had a beer, some nuts and fruits, cost TL25 million. Took one of the girls to a hotel that she recommended. The girl asked for $100 for 2 hours and the hotel cost TL30 million, I would say the hotel was clean. I would rate her 7 with a big bottom. The rest of the body was fine. She knew her BJ very well. No anal. Next time I will try one of the places were I can find Russians. Bars: As said below, Avlu and Pikolo are the best. There are many bars in the area around the Dedeman Hotel where you can find hoockers and take them to your hotel or home.

Clubs: see "Bars". Sometimes you can find hoockers in the Hilton or the Sheraton. They usually sit at the hotel bar or hang around in the Hilton's night club. But remeber: SOMETIMES !
Do not go to places called "pavyon". In there, you can only sit with a girl, hold her hand and pay loads of dosh for her (and your) drink. These places are usually found in a suburb called "Maltepe".

Brothels: You dont wanna go there, unless you wanna risk "post-traumatic stress syndrom" for the rest of your life :-)

Madams: There are several "pimps" in Ankara, one is called "Suna Abla" and lives somewhere in the "Seyranbaðlar" area. You actually have to be a local to be able to contact her. Maybe someone from the reception of the Hilton may be able to help you.

Escorts: Any hoocker you find in of the above location will give you her mobile phone number, so you can call her whenever you want to.

Massage: Never heard of any in Ankara

well, as far as i am concerned, the places on köroðlu cad. and on hoþdere cad. are all shit.

avlu:

this place has the best girls, but the barmen are kind of wankers charging high prices for the booze if you dont know them and go there on a regular basis. the chicks in avlu also try to rip off foreigners, so dont accept prices above 100 million for a screw. you should take the girls home to avoid high priced hotels somewhere in ulus. actually, you should insist on taking them home, otherwise you get ripped off.
since you are new in the buis, some girls might hesitate to come home with you and you end up with an ugly piece of shit, as she is the only one who hasn't earn any money that evening. a god hint is this: tip the man at the toilet some money when you go for a [CodeWord134] (5 million). he has good contacts to the chicks and will talk to them in the future in your favour.

pikolo:

this place is right next to avlu, down the stairs. the girls in there are fair and a bit cheaper. in addition to that, the barman does not ripp u off but does his job. you may want to try the following chicks: ceylan and aynur. both go home for 150 million and u can screw them twice for that dosh.
in pikolo, the girls sit next to their tables and do not bother you, unless you ask them to (little waving with your hand is enough).

There is a place up on Cankaya Cad. in Gazi Ozman Pasha called the Kitti Bar that has between 6-8 girls a night ranging for 5-8 in looks and about the same price. "Neskazu" is on Tunis Cad. one block form the US Embassy. I just heard about Pikolo last night and appreciate the info. on Avlu. I'll let you know what I think.
