Maybe, Okyanus considers its rip-off tricks as outsmarting rather robbing customers. By the way, a glass of coke was $ 30 in Chicago disco and the waiters look like gorillas in these places.

FOREIGNERS: Istanbul's nightlife is quickly gaining recognition as one of the liveliest in Europe. Prices in Istanbul are usually less than other European cities. If you smile to them, they will suddenly talk to you. Some of foreigners want to play with them, but I do not recommend them for sex. The fees are ranging from 30-100 TL for one shot depending on the woman you choose and your bargaining power.

Some of foreigners also want to go brothel. There are two brothels in Istanbul. Prostitution is legal at these places. Both of them are near the Galata Bridge in Karakoy. One of them is on Zurafa Street, Yuksek Kaldirim Avenue. The other one is on Sakizcilar Street, Kemeralti Avenue. In sum, there are more than 300 prostitutes working in these places. Many of them are 35-55 years old, generally gypsies and mostly fat. Entrance to these areas are controlled by police. You won't be allowed in if you are drunk or if you do not have a valid ID stating you are over 18. The fee is usually 30 TL for 10 minutes. Prostitutes working in these establishments are weekly checked by PHA against any VD's but many of them have VD's according to local newspapers. In conclusion, stay away from brothels.

There are many call-girls in 4 or 5 star rated hotel's bars. If you cannot find one by yourself, receptionist in your hotel will be pleased to help you.

As a foreigner you have a change to find freebies at the bars and discos around Ortakoy where you can enjoy the beautiful view while partying until the early hours and dancing with beatiful chicks. Especially Pasha Disco, is a district where young and open minded girls go. The discos in Etiler, especially Nispet Disco, are highly recommended. Many Turkish fashion models come that place.

Before the Ramadan, I visited Sema, a typical Turkish woman, in her house. It was my first visit, I think it was also my last visit to her. She got 80 TL for one hour.
