First of all thanks Iceberg27 for the nice company.

I met up Iceberg27, we enter Balance around 11pm. This is a disco with WG not a stripclub!

We paid 50 lira entrance, the price includes 1 drink and the fruit snacks. (if you paid otherwise you have been rip-off) We got good seats near the dance floor and could watch the girls.

At this point the club was quite empty. Many girls, if not all of them gave us the hooker look and sexy smiles while moving their bodies to the music.

The girls are dressed in jean, shirt and dresses quite casual. Not nothing sexy. Iceberg27 told me they are not allow to make too much sexy moves. LOL, I'm used to German clubs where the girls are walking around fully naked, so I found this situation quite amusing.

We were lucky that evening, there was about 30 girls in turns working / dancing the floor (6x6meters with wall mirrors). A handful girls with nice bodies, but less nice faces. The girls were mainly RO and some Russian and 3 African girls.

It was a strange setup as the girls sad in their group of tables and it seems you can only talk and approach them on the dance floor.

So we went up from our sofa a few times and approach the girls on the dance floor. I talked with Alina RO, nice body face a bit gypsy looking she has a nice smile, we chitchat a little then she asked if we should go to my hotel. I told her my hotel location and she said OK, but I was not sure if she knew it's on the Asian side 30min from Aksaray.

Later I talked with 2 chicks from HU, big boobs but not so slim, they offered me a threesome. The girls are generally nice to talk with and not pushy at all.

The club was more full around 1AM, more guy came in and picked the girls.

Around 2 AM there was a show with a sexy belly dancer with big tits. I bet you can get laid with her if the price was high enough.

I left the club shortly after the show ended, all the doable girls had left the club with or without customer.

I didn't find any girls that was "wow, must have" for me as I was heading for German FKK clubs in later this week, and I was not desperate to get laid now. LOL.

Iceberg27 I hope you could visit the German clubs soon, then you know what heaven on earth is.

PS. The "small guys" that brings the fruit, cleans the tables and try to "nurse" you, expect 5 lira tips, I paid them 4x5 lira during the evening just to keep them away from "nursing" me.

Dear friends, I was in Balance / Balans last Saturday. Appr. 23. 30. 1.00.

Entry is 50TL as already stated. They moved me very straight forward to a desk. No chance to discuss. Which is even hard for a foreigner, not speaking turkish.

They brought me some small food. I had just a coke. I was there to check how the situation / ladies are. I had no Hotel booked.

One of the waiters always offered me to talk to some ladies. I denied. Want to talk to themselve. After 45 min observing I talked to 2 of the ladies. Both did not speak english. So bad luck.

The ladies seems to be ok. Not upperclass but one or two nice chicks.

When I left they tried to charge me 50TL for the coke and the 'service. I gve the waiter 40 TL and he accpeted (evem this is to much).

I will try it again. But not at a desk. Staying at thedancefloor and talk to the ladies directly.

But not a perfect service and behaviour by the guys of balans.

Normally one drink and these foods are inclusive to entrance fee.

For the next time try not to pay for the first drink and if you want to drink smt. Take it directly from bar and pay the barmen.

For ladies it's already a noisy place and it's enough to ask them how much for 2 times or if you want 1 time. And when she replied just say ok and move. That simple. (Prices are 250-300 TL for 2 times)

Maybe you can try to learn these sentences in Turkish or betterly in Russian.

No need to have a chit chat on dancefloor. Even ladies don't prefer this.

Also don't prefer to goto Hotel that lady will direct you because of taxi cost and probably the receptionist will overcharge you.

Make a reservation from internet in The City Hotel and take the girl there.

The balans in balo sokak is only a popular night club (live music) not for sex. It is very close to your hotel.

The other one is in Aksaray (read Iceberg 27 down). Take a yellow taxi, make sure taximeter is on and it will cost from your hotel only 15-20 tl which is less than 10 euro.

&305; f you stay 4 or 5 star hotel WG no problem otherwise not very sure.

Hey folks, today (yes Sunday.) I was driving around with the car at Corlu area, checking what is with both Hotels.

It seems to be nothing. At Deniz Hotel everything was empty, no light in the buildings. Just a sign: Disco.

Marco Polo seems to complete out of order.

Was confused by the Balans or Balance thing for a while and have found the address online. (Balo Sokak No. 22, Beyoglu Istanbul, Turkey 34435)

I just have a a few questions to ask mongers more familiar with Istanbul, I am staying near Istiklal Street. I have looked at the map and it does seem quite far from Balance. Are taxis the best way to get to Balance and back

It is in Aksaray.

Address is : ASIM BEY Sokak. 9, CAKIRAGA Mh. 34096 Istanbul. Near City Hotel.

I have never been there but Balance is strongly recommended by our friend Iceberg27.
