I don't know if this will help but here it goes: There are no red light districts in Istanbul, or anywhere in Turkey for that matter. There are brothels, private -illegal- houses and escorts. The legal brothels are shit. I mean shit! The woman there are cheap as fuck but you wouldn't fuck them if they offer to pay you.

The private houses are hard to find and personally I don't feel safe, although many of my friends do try out these places and they are usually hit-or-miss. Sometimes you encounter beautiful girls, sometimes ugly, old or fat ones. These places do seem cheap to but totally not worth it (around 100-120 Euro per session, 1 H).

Escorts are illegal as these private *****houses. If you can find a good one, which our fellow mongerers here do suggest good ones occasionally, escorts are your best option in Turkey. However, they always change their phone numbers and names because of police investigations. I constantly lose contract with my regulars every 6 months.

My advice to you: go to Northern Cyprus if you have the time. 1,5 hour flight, around 50 Euros. I don't know if your passport is eligible but I think it won't be a problem. You'll find what you're looking for without any hustle. If it's inconvenient for you, either try one the escorts mentioned here or just give all together.

I want to thank you for this information. From what I have read the only legal prostitution is the "brothels" you mentioned down by the waterfront. Europe is a new venue for me and since I don't typically use Escorts or go to *houses in South America or Asia I am going to check these brothels out. They cannot be as gross as what I saw in India. If necessary I will hire someone to escort me in and out, who knows I may find something okay. If necessary I will try one of the escorts. Worst case I will have to wait it out until I go to Prague.
