Let me spare you a longwinding, answer that includes comparisons to Europe. The simple answer is:

I don't know. Honestly.

Having said that I can only say, that when I go punting I expect to do the "screwing" (sorry couldn't find a less vulgar word. Copulating?). Not the other way around. More than once, despite my "experience", I ended being "screwed". And I basically stopped punting in Istanbul for that reason!

As long as it is illegal, People will be taken advantage of. And I do not mean only the men, the women will suffer even more. Since this illegality strip them of their rights as humans. Prostitution as it is, is a tough job, with too many leeches attached to the value / service chain anyway. This increased pressure just makes it more profitable for the Pimps, Clubs, and Hotels usually not the girls. Who by all rights deserve the money most!

So the answer actually would be Legalization. But the How I cannot answer.

Over time Aksaray area has become too dirty and what the Police is doing is just to clean it.

Aksaray was much filthier and more dangerous in the past, the current "surge" has the sole purpose of cleaning the area for Trade, Shopping and Tourism. I doubt that they will stop until the whole of Aksaray is "Clean". The current police chief has a reputation for doing so. What will happen is that the establishments will change location or submerge in utter illegality, as it was before the mid 1980's. This will make it very hard for punters in Turkey indeed!

Prostitution was always illegal outside of "Genelev" establishments, I am happy and sad about the raids at the same time (Am I crazy? Me, Napoleon? Never!). The semi legal setting of these establishments made it very easy for organized crime to operate. Even this Thread is filled with Horror stories, and cannot continue like this!

Hi everyone,

I think, it is time to investigate new affordable and well quality resources, since aksaray scene is no more available due to the recurring police raids. Therefore I have made some research on Internet and found a local girl Meltem on expatriates.

I've been mongering, particularly in Aksaray, for almost 7-8 years but I have never seen this area such quiet when I come back after a 6 months trip in abroad. Seranda is no more available, Bacardi is closed, Bulvar is closed, Balance is empty, Irmak's street is empty at 3 a.m. What is happening in Aksaray?

Could someone do me (and probably other members) a favour and briefly outline where to go as a newcomer to Istanbul, what internet pages are recommendable for finding escorts or what other sources to use?

What can I tell you Toto, you really are a TOTO. You said you have read the forum but I guess you just skimmed. There is many reports about these scams in this forum, even turks fall for it and I myself was in a similar position once and know it is an unpleasant situation. I congratutalte you after that bill you were still able to pick up a girl and take her to your hotel. You should also tell the name of the club so we do not go around it.

Thanks for your understanding. I am sorry, I do not recall the name of the club. In fact I was heading to the Bacardi Club in Akzaray, which is apparently closed. Also it had a different name written outside (Flamingo or something like this) when we stopped in front of that address, immediately a young turkish guy would negotiate with my taxidriver, get in and accompany me to this "secret" club around two corners. They argued that this would now be the new "Bacardi". But later it became quite clear to me that due to the frequent police riads they are probably moving the clubs every other day or week.

The problem for Newbies in Istanbul without any guidance is that there is no single location where you could meet a working girl beside this clubs. In fact, I had fun with the girl for several days, of course I never went back to the club again but instead had her invited by phone.

Unfortunately I don't have any report to post, but I wanted to discuss about marketing strategy.

Recently (two months ago') someone (male or female I'm not sure) took control here, but two months passed without any report on her / him, if I'm not wrong.

May be because the consumers group was intentionally reduced, may be economical situation.

I would like to suggest a different marketing approach, let say:

- first round for free, second at indicated standard tariff.

May be a fruitfull (for her) report will be posted here and 2011 will turn to be an economically shining year.

Sometime the market is strange and is necessary to test every possibility.

I wish everyone a very active new year. I had been reading and writing to &304; stanbul, Ankara, &304; zmir, basel, amsterdam, Rotterdam, Ljublijana forums, anywhere I go. It became the first checking source before trips. Thanks to founders and all contributors.

The year started with a miracle for me. Our famous Marina the mamasan had called me and asked me "how am I doing and why I have not been calling her" wow! Times are changing, a slow year of 2010 making the mamasan call the clients. Anyways I am sure she is calling everyone on her list because her numbers are changed.

Hello, fellows, I have been to Aksaray area yesterday. I am new in Istanbul. Actually have never been to Turkey before. So I did not know what to expect. Even after reading the reports in this forum, it is difficult to find some good spot for action.

The only name I was able to pick up from this forum was Bar Bacardi as being suitable to give a Taxi driver an address where he should bring me. In my imagination I was hoping for something like the "Night Flight" in Moscow. Well, it came different. \

In fact the entire area of Aksaray is more or less a shit hole. Barcardi has been closed due to police raids. In front of the apparently previous location of Bacardi have been two guys, who would come in to my taxi and guide the taxi driver to another "club" two corners away. I was welcomed outside the door with a big "Hello, My Friend" and guided through the bar in the main floor into a discoclub of about 80m2 in the basement. The music was incredible loud, the club did have a small dance floor. I sat at the bar first to get oriented. The club did have 40-60 men, mostly turkish. I think I was probably almost the only tourist. Retrospectively I must have the impression that the entire scene was fake and everybody was waiting for somebody like me, being lured into this club for getting robbed. There were 10-12 working girls present. 2/3 of them quite hot. The club works like this: the guys who run the club will want you to invite a girl. For this they will clear a table, and before you can say anything they will put an entire bottle of Whisky on the table. Even if the girls would not want to drink alcohol, this is part of the game. The girls will sit and dance with you and will offer to accompany you into a near bye hotel in aksaray or into your hotel.

When it comes down to payment for the drinks to leave the bar, you will receive the bill handwritten on a piece of paper with an insane high number. In fact there will be only one guy in the bar, who is in charge of the bills, this usually is a guy who speaks basic english and welcomed you as "my friend" in the first place.

Once he dropped the bill on your table he will vanish asap and you are left behind with the stupid "waitors" who do not speak any english and insist on the money.

Well, I have read previous reports here, where people have complained about a bill of 70 turkish Lira, which is actually peanuts. In fact I received a bill of 980 Turkish Lira, which is approximately 500 USD. I had been drinking two coke myself. And I had invited a girl to my table, without any ordering by myself or the girl, the waitors had immediately opened a bottle of whiskey from which we drank perhaps 100 CL at the most.

Anyhow, I was in a basement of an inofficial club, surrounded by people pretending to be my "friend" LOL. So I almost had no chance. In fact, I got this main waitor back to my table and told him I would not be able to pay this amount. I had not ordered nothing etc. Blablabla. He said, yes but I cleared a table for you. Etc.

I was finally able to talk him down to 250 Euro and 250 Turkish Lira, which is something like 750 turkish Lira instead of 980 which they initially asked for. More was not possible. I did not want to play my luck and felt that I was guilty aswell when I go in such a club. I should have known better. But there was no other possibilities to meet a girl for me that night. Not even in my hotel. (Conrad).

Nevertheless, the girls seeming not to play tricks on the man in this club. I was very lucky with my girl.

The girl that I picked was a 21 year old girl from Usbekistan or kasachstan. Super slim, with nice breasts. She did come to my hotel and stayed until the next morning. We had exceptional GFE sex. I can not complain. She was asking 300 Euro for this.

Any recommendations from experienced Istanbul travelers are very welcomed. Unfortunately the reports of distinction here are mostly outdated.

Luckly I found a place which you can find turkish so called escorts working.

The girls advertise in different web sites uses that place to do their business.

It's on the back of Ramada Hotel in Beylikduzu. There are a hotel-residance mixture buildings, girls rent the rooms for 2-3 weeks and use it only for work. No I'd, no credit card, no check-in asked. Room was very clean, average decorated.

I found 2 girls email that worked in there and started to write them. I choose one to go and actually it's value for money, she was slim, take 200tl for 1 hour.

She taken care of me very well.

The routine is usual, sucking (uncovered) , covered sex in multiple positions, end in body.

She was very nice person to chat but actually there were no breast at all, so at the end I was unhappy not to choose the other one.
