I just got back from a week at Istanbul. I stayed at the conrad Hotel and they have a wonderful rooftop restaurant. Initially, as a western Europe guy, I was thinking to spend some time in Turkey as the Lira dropped compared to the EUR and everything looks being very cheap (may be true for everything except the ladies. Unfortunately). But with rates of 100 EUR per hour it does not seem to be the destination currently, for this I can stay in Germany / Austria / Spain without any hassle. In this case I prefer going to Africa for some weeks off (or may be checking out Odessa like you mentioned). I visited Istanbul last week and stayed in the taksim square area. The brothels on kucuk bayram sk and buruk bayram sk don't get mentioned on this site as almost every post pertains to the fb scene.
