Thank you all for your advice.

It sounds like getting a girl back to my hotel may be met with some resistance from the girl because she and the club have an arrangement with their favoured hotels. How likely is this in Barcardi and similar clubs ? If I insist on my hotel, will the deal fall through ?

Among the many 5-star hotels, I would highly recommend Swisshotel,the Bosphorous.

You can walk through anywhere you like in any way you wish without any kind of hassles or distress.

The reception just doesn't care whether you step in alone or in company of several girls..

Moreover, the hotel has a special weekend rate of 150 bucks per night from Friday through Sunday including the taxes and breakfast..

It will be no problem to take your girls or call them in to your 5 Star Hotels.

Hyatt is absolutely no problem. So are Hilton, Carlton Ritz, or others.

If you want to book a single room and you do not want to be charged extra, just do not show the girl to the reception. In most cases, you do not have to go or pass in front of the reception to go up to the rooms.

If you're calling the girl in, just tell her the room number and instruct her to go up directly to the room. Or, you'd better meet the girl outside the hotel and tell her to follow you a few steps behind to the elevators.

If you've booked a double room; you do not need all this fuss.

Doing it in a squalid hotel room in aksaray wouldn't be my favorite.

But, since this would be my first bacardi experience (or any other place for that matter), I want to make absolutely sure that all the 5* hotels are all right.

If I take a girl from Bacardi to, say Hyatt, there won't be any fuss at the reception, will there? (Or shall I book the room first, then go to Bacardi?)

Any recommendations to a first timer would be rally really appreciated.

Stayed several times at the Hilton and twice at the Hyatt and never had any problems with the girls. Nobody seems to care and you dont even have to check / register with the front-desk.

The girls in Aksaray area usually prefer to go to hotels around Aksaray, most of the bars have spesific hotels.

There are some relations between bosses.

If you convince the girl going to another hotel, you should book the hotel before you go or let your girl have a seat somewhere at the looby.

Even 5* hotels do not care about whom you go to room with, there is no need of hussling in front desk without any luggage.

If you have a double room in any 3*,4* hotel, they usually let you go in.

When you make your reservation, you better mention to come to hotel with your girlfriend.

To have a room in Holiday Inn(Marina and the other one in the main street going to Aksaray) is best solution for the mongerers do not want to hussle with any officious hotel clerks.

You question is too much general for me to answer in detail. I cannot elaborate on ALL the hotels in Istanbul; whether they are girl-friendly or not her, not enough time and space.

However, people take the girls to nearby hotels in Aksaray WHEN they pick the girl up IN aksaray; beause they may not have had enough time to take the girl away, or because they did not want to spend more money to a luxurious and expensive hotel, etc...

I can tell you that NOT ALL the hotels in Aksaray are girl-firendly. Some of them are REAL pain in the ass about this. You may be ejected from those even with your wife, if you do not have your wedding certificate or passports with you.

But, I can tell you that ALL the 5 star hotels are girl-firendly. they even do not care; and they do not charge you extra. In these 5 star hotels, most of the time, you do not walk past the reception with a girl. The elevators are somewhere else, and the receptionist does not have to see that you're going up with a girl. Besides, there are too many rooms and too many people staying there. How should they remember if you checked in double or single? Even if they did knew, they do not bother you with charging extra or forbidding, etc.

There are hundreds of 4 stra and lower class, boutique or S-Class hotels which accept girls and their policies differ. You habe to ask your friends in this forum spesifically, if anybody know about THAT SPESIFIC hotel or not.
