It has been ages since i last visited Turkey, but as always i have been reading the forum from afar...

I am contemplating a Bunny Hop over to Istanbul in April... so whats new in Town.. ?

I have tended to stay at Holiday Inn in Atakoy...but it is something of a treck into and back from Aksaray, don't fancy that anymore... any tips from you guys on similiar but also guest friendly hotels in and or around the hunting zone... ?

Any changes on prices at the regular places... Irmak, Serenda, Bacradi...etc ?

Last month I was in Istanbul for 1 day for business and after a long day at work I come to my hotel at 10.30 I head for Baccardi at 12.30.

I sit down and they bring me a drink .Its my first time there and I see there are 30+girls and 20+guys.

The standart price of Bacardi is:

The fix menu is 40 TL in Saturdays (including a plate of banana and honey, peanuts, a plate of fruits and a drink). The girl gets $ 150-250.

But if you invite more than one girl to your table, each girl will get an drink which costs extra 25 TL.

In Bacardi and other places, be careful not to accept anything that you did not order. Buying a girl a drink guarantees you nothing. If she quotes you a high price, doesn’t look so good close up, has a bad attitude, etc you have blown 25 TL. When she quotes you a price she is of course well aware that you have already spent money just to talk to her and probably don’t want to throw it away and start over. As soon as her drink arrives, the vendors comes near you, selling a rose 10 TL , cigarettes 5 TL , candies and chocolates 10 TL, etc.. They were waiting in line to get at you. You must tell them please all to go away.

IMHO Bacardi, Seranda and Balance Discos are good ones.

It's so strange to be in doubt of Serenda or Balance after so many detailed posts..

The bill fare at Bacardi is about fixed unless you look like a complete stranger! You're really ripped off if you spend more than 50 bucks for the expense of inviting 1-2 girls to your table.

On the other hand, there's no such hassle involved for Serenda or Balance, as you can get away with just 20 bucks for one drink.

Moreover, the prices are negotiable to as low as 50 bucks for the 2hrs as opposed to the fixed 150 bucks of Bacardi for a similar or even better quality and service if you're lucky and patient enough..

Serenda and Balance next door are both 3-min walk from Bacardi..

Just walk past Bacardi on your right side and take the second turning on the right just near the police station. Then walk straight ahead without turning anywhere, walk past the crossroad and right ahead till you arrive at the steps at the end of the road... there you'll see the famous Serenda hotel and disco nearby..

On the suggestion of esteemed brothers at this forum I decided to go to Bacardi last Saturday. Even though there we plenty of good looking girls and yes some of them spoke also good English that was propably the first and last visit to Bacardi.

II’ve been around at this type of clubs in many countries and really have to say that yes the bear has been pricy before and all kinds of service fees, drinks for the girls etc etc have been part of the system, I still have not felt as ripped off as I did staying few hours at Bacardi.

II also definitely feel that even though the girls are pretty they are not that much “gems of the world” as the price seems to indicate! But yes, yes in the country you have to live with the prices or get out of the country. We went to hotel and spent a nice and swetty night and she had a good attitude, no hurry anywhere and so on.

Are all the others, Balance, Serenda (where is that located by the way?) as bad as Bacardi. If they are, I would definitely prefer the hotel setting up a girl or then my fellow mongers giving tips on knockout English speaking girls that would accompany me to hotel. I’ll rather spend all the money to the girls than spending shitload of money to overpriced drinks and other bullshit.
