I felt the necessity two add my two cents:

1) I agree: Turkish girls are high maintanence and hard to get into bed in general. This is my first report so please bear with me. Ý have been travelling to Turkey on or off for five years now, but two years ago I bought a house in istanbul and started living with a Turkish girl, unfortunatly it did not work out. I was in Serenda again on Saturday night. This time it was much more crowded, not just because it was a Saturday night but also the beginning of the month.

Most guys just sit at the table in groups just looking around, which means they don't have any intention or chance of picking up girls. It's also apparent from the fact that the hotel is mostly empty and you don't wait at all after checking in.

The interesting thing is that there are also some good looking girls who are there only for sitting at the tables and having drinks.

As you said Bacardi comes ridicously expensive at the end of the day comparing to Seranda. I always go for Seranda because of less expenses. Girls in Bacardi quote quite highly which keeps them okay for a longer while than girls in Seranda even if they don't have any job everyday. What I noticed about girls, Romanian or Moldovan girls quote less than Russian, Ukranians most of the time.

You have got to search detaily and find desperate ones, it will cost you in Bacardi but not in Seranda. But if it has got better from this respect these days as Vegamars says I can't wait to visit there again.

I think not knowing the outgoing prices may cause you a lot of trouble.Even $2 would be too high for the taxi and people trying to harass you doesn't necessarily mean you've gotto obey.Not knowing the language is not a disadvantage,on the contrary it gives you the benefit of unnecessary communication and arguments.
The trick is to make people believe you know the prices pretty well and you're not willing to be decieved in any way.Even if you don't know anything,pretend to go straight for the min like one third of the first quoted figure.
By reference of the location of Bacardi,Irmak is just 50m inside from the other side across the street past the traffic lights just in front of the entrance of Bacardi(1min of walking)
Serenda,on the other hand,is located on the opposite side,so you've gotto walk past the front door of Bacardi past McDonald's and 7up,take the right turn just after the police station and walk straight ahead without any turn past a few streets for about 200m till the end of the road and you'll see Serenda as the last building on the left just before the steep stairs in front of you.(5min of walking)
