Some agencies in there are reliable but I have given up research on those, you got to do your research. I wouldn't call it reliable as most photos tend to get photoshopped but you can always ask the agencies for the real ones. While in theory most 4-5 stars hotels don't have a problem with guests, your guest is required to register at the reception where they take the ID. These days they also have to fill out the COVID healthcare questionnaire (so registration is a must).

Four seasons should be ok.

I have normally not had problems with visitors on my previous visits, but this time, it was not so good and spoilt a couple of dates for me.

I was staying at Hilton Bomonti- a 5 star and one of the biggest hotels in Istanbul and probably one of the high security ones which is why they so strict. Great hotel but not so guest friendly.

I was trying to book a date in advance of my arrival, but the girl refused after I gave the name of the hotel saying it was problematic. I thought it was an excuse, in hindsight she was right.

You cannot get away without registering your guest at this hotel. I met my date in the lobby and we went up. As soon as we are in the room, I get a call " sir you a guest, they need to register'. We go downstairs, register, problem solved.

The real problem will occur if you staying multiple nights and plan to have multiple guests.

So the next day when I have another guest, they could not register as I have someone already registered on the system.

One way to get around this is (and I learnt it by chance) is to have multiple single day reservations. I happened to have 2 different reservations for 4 nights due to change of plans. So I managed two visitors. Third and fourth couldn't make it.

I don't know if this is specific of Hilton Bomonti or other top end 5 star hotels. I have stayed in a number of other hiltons / double in Istanbul and have not had any issues.

If they do ha e card access which h the majority of higher end hotels have, then the girl will not be able to go to your room directly after entering hotel. You will have to meet her in the lobby bar or something like that then take her to your room. If you plan to have various girls go to the check in desk and try to get access that way it will not be so easy for you. I suggest emailing or calling them to find out if they have card access security on their elevators. This way you find out if the girl can go direct to your room. Otherwise it might be best to meet her in the lobby bar of the the 4 seasons. Most higher end hotels have this security anyway. Depending on how you meet her (IG, Twitter, or agency) you can arrange the meet at the lobby bar. Also gives you chance to try to end it in the lobby instead of at your door in case of bait and switch shows up at your door.
