Prior to Eurovision a visa was necessary for most to visit Ukraine and so only a select and dedicated few made their way to Candyland.

Approx 6 months before EV, Ukraine went visa-free for EU citizens and has remained so everafter with obvious consequences.

My contacts also tell me of a plan to have a lot of boats moored on the Dnipro to provide temporary "floating hotel" accommodation, but other city and river authorities are saying this is not possible because of lack of facilities. We shall see. Oh how we'd love River Palace to sneak in among the flotilla hahaha!

Older mongers will be quaking in their boots, and reminiscing in equal measure at the thought of the Euro Championship footy finals in Kyiv next summer.

The only thing anywhere near as big for Kyiv prior to this was Eurovision. There was a time pre-EV and then there was what we have today, postEV.

The old style strip clubs (where you could get oral sex in private) were swept away and Rhino started opening branches.

Rio had its top floor burned out some time after then. Still wonder if it was a rival attack!

So, I really fear the worst. In a year you may be looking back and thinking "wow, remember those days when you could get a great girl from Mamba for 700, or from topmodals for 800"

I already have my apartment booked for June. I paid 100% premium, but that's not such a bad deal I think. Agencies are not releasing apartments yet. I'm lucky, I have some apartments I can get my hands on. Match tickets are trading for around $200 for each group game in Kyiv. The draw is in a week's time. If England or germany are drawn to play there (that is 50/50 possibility) then all those prices will shoot up more than a dealer in DC!

Harry! You're missing out. There's a separate strip club, which is inside the club but upstairs (the stairs are by the bar). When I was there they had 5-10 girls, all available for takeout (around 100USD all night) and, unusually they were all stunners (8-10). One or two of them were absolutely incredible 10's. I went just for the show (and private dances) which were pretty crappy. I didn't even realize what was going on until one of the girls told me in surprise that everyone knows it's not a real "strip club" just a place to pick a girl from a lineup.

Of course the strip club was very small and I don't know if it's still working, but a great 2-3 days could be had by some members of the forum. The town is a resort, with mineral springs, with cheap but good quality western-style mini hotels (probably 20 of them). You could have a great weekend fucking, eating, and relaxing for $500. Even without the strip club, any town that has thousands of older Russian male "tourists" will have saunas or services for girls. I did meet an American monger there with his Ukrainian-American friend. They were leaving the day I arrived to go to Odessa, so I didn't get a chance to ask them for tips, but they did tell me they were there to "fuck around."

Plus it's near Lviv, so it's a natural combination to do the two together. Buses take about an hour from Lviv I think.

After the Disco entrance on the left side round steps up, there is the strip club.
