Is there any major decrease in Western men visiting Ukraine this year, or is about like last year? I'm wondering if the Ukrainian / Russian conflict is having a big effect or not.

I haven't been in Ukraine yet but from what've read and seen on YouTube and interaction on mamba, both Kherson and Nikolaev for some reason seem to have more willing girls. Maybe they just have a higher female ratio than the rest of the country and girls are more willing to give GFE in hope she'll get Hi to marry her!

I am currently in east Ukraine, where I've been residing for the past seven years, if anyone is thinking about visiting anywhere in the east, don't, stay away.
It's s bad as the news reports indicate, maybe worst, many of the banks have closed, the bank machines have been shut off long ago, and the ones still operating only cater to bank members.
The grocery stores are bare, not stocked properly due to deliveries not being made, regrettably, I am leaving in a few weeks as a result of this crisis, is there anyone in Kiev who can tell me if the bank machines are working, is there a daily limit, I am only spending a week in Kiev so I don't need much, just something I need to plan for if the bank machines are not operating properly.

Got a 50% discount in peak season (booked for one month 4 July-4 August) on a very nice Airbnb apartment (on Deribasovskaya) in Odessa!
I guess that tourism will be low in Odessa this summer. Russians will not come, and there will probably be very few westerners. It's a buyer market.

Having visited a few provincial cities, I concur. Actually Kherson city is quite well known as a sex-tourist location. So many agencies there. Nikolaev less so.
But almost any other city, you can easily get locals for free, if you have a cover story, and a few words of Russian. In west Ukraine, avoid Lviv. But in other towns and cities you may not even need Russian. A bit more English spoken in Ivano F, Ternopil, Lutsk, than in the east and south.

I concur with Otto. Stay away from cities like Kiev or Odessa. The women in these cites are much less "Ukrainain", I would say. (I have lived here four years and visited many cities where I have met new female friends. It is too bad that Eastern Ukraine is now so screwed up. The city of Lugansk has extremely beautiful and friendly women. Kharkov is okay too.
Russian is pretty much a requirement for what you want to do. At least some basics. Only problem is. It is a damn difficult language.
Be prepared to spend some time getting to know the woman. The women you want to meet are not "professionals". Don't expect a lot on the first date (unless, of course, she is a professional). But if you perceiver, but the third or fourth date you should be having some of the best evenings in your life.
Also. Get an apartment and stay in the city for a long time. It is better if you have a reason to be in the Ukraine. Work, writing a book, learning Russian, etc. This is one of the questions you will get asked a lot.
You can find a lot of women here. You can have a lot of fun here. Maybe, if you are lucky, you can find the woman that you want to spend a long time with. Good luck!
