I would not waste your time and resources at Shooters. The last 5 times I attend Ladies night the ratio was '15-1 guys-girls, the name should be changed to Guys Night. As the night went on the ratio did improve slightly, maybe 1-8. The ratio does improve on Weekends, but still not very good. July is not a good time, most girls are on holidays, you will be better off going to Odessa. I do not go to Kiev anymore, use to live there, but have moved on to better destinations. Go to see. Club or the strip clubs. High End Clubs can be good, on Fridays, but I am not sure the good places anymore, if any.

The best time of to go to Kiev is November-Feb, but there are much better destinations, I would not even say Kiev is in the top ten for mongering, just not very good.

I plan to visit Kiev with some friends end of August. We will arrive on Wednesday 23:30. Did someone know a good place where we can find some bars / clubs with some action / girls on a Wednesday / Thursday night?

Our apartment is close to arena city. Is it worth to visit during the week? Caribbean Club?

I read that Shooters has a lady night on Wednesday. Was someone there and can share some experience?

On Friday and Saturday I think every location would be full.

Of the many Ukrainian girls who I am in contact with only one or two gravitate towards Russia. Dubai, Istanbul, Spain, in that order, are the destinations for all the others, most of them would prefer not to relocate permanently. Because they love their country. With few exceptions, no bar in Kiev wants pros as patrons. All they can bring an owner is extortion by the police and politicians. For obvious reasons, it's impossible to keep all of them out. They are pretty discreet if they can pass face control. Buddha Bar is different in the sense it's a high end tourist trap. Girls in BB will quote ridiculous amounts like $500. Enough to spread some money around. SkyBar is the other rip off place. Two completely non viable mongering options.

Again, their are no hooker bars in Kiev, but their are hookers in bars.

These converters are very common. I've seen them in numerous stores (like Billa) for cheap money too. If you're staying in a hotel ask at the desk. They can easily tell you where to go to buy one OR may even just give you one for free that some other guest left behind when they checked out. That happened to me before, my converter died late at night and the clerk simply let me choose from a drawer full of them LOL.

Do you really need a transformer, or simply an adaptor would suffice? Most contemporary appliances can handle both: 110 and 220. Still, some of the older ones cannot and I successfully fried my toothbrush charger few years ago).
