    Darn.
Moulin Rouge finally responded to my inquiry today: "We are open 24/7, you can come in. "

    Took them only 10 days.

For the guys with girlfriends and wives in Ukraine, this is the time to assert yourself as a man. Selfish or cowardly behavior will never be forgotten.

    Closure of borders

I'm really confused as from what I read un the news, some said the order will be effective within 48 hours, which is on 16 March, while other sources said on 17.

This matters to me because my flight leaving Kiev is scheduled at 23:15 March 16.

Also included in the closure are all land transit points including rail travel as well as all seaports. It is through the land and seaports which Ukrainian citizens may be able to return but not foreigners.

If you have plans now, change or cancel them for the time being.
    Thank you for the information.

Do you mean that both inbound and outbound flights will be stopped from March 17, or just inbound flights?

The rules on when the stoppage will begin is still a little confusing as to the start, but it is better not to come here over the next day or two since you may be sent back, an expensive disappointment.

In addition, as of today, the last trains from Przemysl and Warsaw Poland to Ukraine will run one last time and halt operations for the next two weeks. I believe that trains from Slovakia to Ukraine have also ceased running.
Most people take buses and even Marshrutkas between Poland and Ukraine, and I hope they are handling the situation with these buses well, as I read about planes and trains but not buses in the news.

So many Ukrainians live in Poland, and they can easily bring the virus from Poland where cases are climbing up fast. In fact the woman in the first fatal case (near Zhytomyr, just west of Kiev) in Ukraine did exactly that. She took a bus back from Poland on March 1, if I understand correctly. Hopefully, this will alert the authority to pay particular attention to the buses from Poland.

As far as I can read from the Statement by President Zelensky, foreigners with valid permanent or temporary residence in Ukraine will be allowed to enter past the deadline.

Foreigners currently in Ukraine have 3 days to leave on commercial flights. Then it will be through the special arrangements via their Consulate.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

More interesting to me is how this would affect Ukrainian girls frequently traveling outside of Ukraine and those staying abroad. Don't want to speculate. I would rather wait and see.

Yeah, I felt one of my regulars getting a little nervous lately. Seems the cash flow slowing down makes the girls unhappy.

This reminds me a few hourly girls arriving with a pissed off attitude, and little later explaining me that management imposed few hundred dollars penalty on them for policy violations, for example talking to the customer directly via messenger, etc.

Lady shouldn't be too hungry and underfucked to bring the happiness in the monger's life.

Well, that could be true if the price goes down due to low demands.

Just came back to Ukraine with intention of being here for another 3 months (maximum for tourists), but I feel I'm stuck here, as I'm not sure which is the better place to be in the long run, Ukraine of the US. At least at the moment Ukraine has only 3 cases, or so they say.

If the US becomes much worse and Ukraine is doing ok after 3 months, there is possibility that I might just overstay here in Ukraine until the thing dies down (who knows when) and just pay the penalty if I eventually leave.

Slight Correction to the earlier post

You will be turned away at the airport or border so postpone or cancel your travel plans if you are planning on coming here at this time.

This closure is also open to extension depending on circumstances so two weeks is not a definite rule, it could be longer. Also, the exact list of who can come in will probably also be published tomorrow but don't count on entry if you have a foreign passport.

Frankly, it does not make anything better for those of us still here since there is an undercurrent of justified anxiety.
