(I'm locked down in a hotel in a small town in Spain now. Once daily I take a walk to the store for food. Zero danger here but also zero hope of ever finding a sugar baby to pass the time. Sorry I didn't fly to Kyiv early this month so that I'd be stranded there instead. BTW Reason death rates from covid19 are 100 times greater in Italy than Germany is that most deaths are elderly with existing health problems. In Italy, they blame covid19, even though it's just the straw that broke the camel's back. In Germany, they blame the existing health problem. But politicians are terrified of being blamed if things go bad, so they pander to the hysteria.).

Had to take a relative to the same Emergency Room a month ago and today for the reasons unrelated to Covid19, with a certain chronic issue.

Medical staff was totally relaxed and didn't care much in February. Now everybody is dressed properly, fully covered head, etc. Not quite hazmat yet. There was a young adult few rooms away dying from corona lungs complications. Our nurse was visibly shaken and crying, as his parents weren't allowed to attend, and not much can be done. I expect compassion will wear out quickly.

We were able to bail out in 2-3 hours.

Talked to a long time friend that works at Caribbean Club she says she is in dire straights as no tourists are coming to town and her income has disappeared. I doubt many of these ladies save much money even though they earn way more than the average citizen. I think a lot of these women will try webcams; seems like a booming business right now with a lot of horny lonely dudes at home. Kiev subways will be shut from April 3rd on. I'm not sure how the city can function without subways. I guess you need to know how to take Marshrutkas. Or ride hailing services such as Uber and Uklon.
