I'm overstaying since July of last year and plan to just pay the modest fine when I leave. My cover story will be that I only planned to stay 90 days but then I became terrified of possibly catching covid in a crowded airport, so I thought it was safer to do as all the governments advised and stay where I was until the pandemic was over. So I'll be able to return to Ukraine after leaving, after being out 90 days.

She joined me swimming in the Dnieper on Jan 19 (annual event in Orthodox countries). Air was about -13C then, but water was like +3C, so felt warm. When you once overstayed, were you actually fined AND blocked from re-entry, before you applied for the long term residency?

A few years ago when I unwittingly overstayed by 2 days, I was fined about 60 USD at the airport, but when I asked if I could come back the next day, they said yes.

Last year, I entered Ukraine right before the quarantine started and stayed there for 6 1/2 months. So under normal circumstances I would have overstayed by 3 1/2 months. When I left Ukraine, however, I was detained at the airport, but after only a few minutes the officer realized that I did so within the rules they established, so I was let go without being imposed any penalty.

If you want to be sure, what you should do is to call your local immigration office in Ukraine. That's what I did, so I was certain I should not be fined. But, as always, it ultimately depends on the officer you deal with at the airport, so I had the phone number of the English-speaking local immigration officer handy at least so that I could argue back to the officer!

This is another thing I don't understand. I have lived in a city with population less than 500,000 in Ukraine for cumulatively over a year and thought that the Ukrainian people are so nice and nicer than people in 4 countries where I have lived more than 2 years each (mostly in advanced countries). Who and where are these corrupted people in Ukraine?

I have never experienced corruption in this city, and my neighbors, including girls, were very friendly, even though I hardly speak Russian or Ukrainian.

On a one-on-one basis the people are wonderful. If I can actually get a real girl in a room with me, they are normally fantastic. I have emphasized that I have had wonderful experiences. I love the people I work with and the people I play with. Just wonderful experiences. Super nice, super friendly.

But I interact on Mamba and SA. So much scamming there. Really, I believe 80-90% of the "girls" that initially respond are scams.

As has been mentioned recent, bars and strip clubs, and even regular business completely ignore the rules and no body does anything about it. It is easy to get fake documents for anything.

And in my professional life, deep corruption in the public and private sector.

Sorry it willl be a too long post but in this quite and boring lockdown pandemy night, I have time enough to tell this story of scam. I was in Vegas in February 2017 and I went to Palamino Strip Club vegas. And my biggest scamming happened there during my entire career of mongering. (I am also suprpised not to share this experience in forum. I tried to search but couldn't find anything in USAsexguide. Maybe I did but can't find) I have to say proudly have been at least 20 countries and that was the worst thing happened to me. I took one friend and get in there with the usual Van service from the Mandarin Hotel (The famous shooting happened there in 2017-Remember) . We were happy enjoying the ride. During entrance one young guy about 20's took my attention because he wasnt behavouring normally. Smiling stupidly and look not so serious for such a place. You know staff in that kind of places not always very friendly. He was behaving like a child. But I didn't give a sheet, entered the club and started to enjoy the place. My friend was a Turkish man who lives in L. A. and the things going on there for him was usual and routine so he was unhappy and complaining always. I was so excited because I am always a big fan of strip clubs. I like to visit and compare them. My mind was in Ukraine and Russian strip clubs which has 5 times more beautiful girls and half price but it was also nice to have short brunette latin american girls. I must tell you that decoration in EE clubs always better. Strip clubs in US are sheet holes compared to them. Anyway one of the girls came and ask me to have a HJ for 60 usd in private and stupid me said yes. My coat was in the table and left it there with my wallet inside because I thought it would be more safe than in private dance room. My friend was sitting there in the table at the moment. We go up to the private dance room with the girl. I was so horny. Girl was trying to do it hiddenly due to camera and she give a little bit HJ for a whole 60 usd and I get out of the room. I saw my friend was also upstairs with another girl. I was so surprised becuase I wasnt expecting he did that because he was complaining and asking why we come to here, why we don't go and some stupid. Anyway I go back down to my table and look my coat but it wasnt there. I was at first calm. Thought that waiters take it to wardrobe. I go and check there but it wasnt there. My heart started to beat a little bit because my whole travel budget 1200 USD was inside my wallet in the pocket of my coat. We went to Vegas with 15 customers from Turkey for a company activity and after a few days they would go back to Turkey and I would visit my brother in S. F. And travel the USA for 10 days. Anyway I go to the bodyguards and they told me to wait. I was nearly go crazy and these guys make me wait nearly 15 minutes. Anyway at the end they came and offered to look cameras. Noone has seen my coat. . Stupid friend came down and I asked him my coat and he told me he didn't see it. He will not be responsible because I didn't tell him before I leave. It was obviously on table. I was more and more angry and frustrated. All my wallet expensive Earbuds and coat was gone. What should I tell to my boss. How could I pay the rest of my travel? It was my first time in USA. I was so worried and noone was doing anything. Bodyguards were searching, asking waitress. I told them if they can't find, I will call 911. They were telling me to cool down. I told them, I have to do that if they don't do that. I was walking up and down in front of club entrance and go back. It was about 30 minutes of stresfull moments. Maybe it was the worst 30 minutes of my life. Anyway suddenly I saw the young stupid guy in front of entrance door talking with Bodyguards with my earbuds in his ears and coat was on him. I run out of door and catched him and told 150 kg indian bodyguards that this is my coat. Stupid boy was smiling like an idiot, enjoying the music that he listen from my earbuds. Bodyguards took him and crashed on a wall outside, bended his arm. Stupid gave me back the coat. My wallet was there. I counted the money. All was there. Then I moved to give punch him in face but bodyguards stopped me. No no no hey. All I did was to say him Fck you stupid and he is let go. Bodyguards warned him not to come again. He had mental problems definitely. A normal person doesn't steal a coat from a strip club and come back there. If he was a real thief I would loose all my money. I know all I did was maybe more stupid then he did. Leave the coat in table with a guy you met a few days ago. Why did I carry all my cash in my coat's pocket. Anyway, I think it is due to heavy work and blood was not going to my brain in those days. So all in all what I will tell you is I really think USA is a nice and legal country but you will never what will happen in where. Personally I had very small bad things in Ukrain. I'm a very fit 53 year old so not in a particularly high risk group, but I have zero fear of COVID. My Russian is horrible, but I guess it is getting better.

Kyiv is really good for me right now. I don't discourage anyone from coming except DramaFree who I know will have a horrible time.

Thanks for clearing up about your Russian skills. I'm not sure why but I assumed you speak Russian well based on your reports. I had to read your previous report again with this correction in my head. Next time I am in Kiev I'll try to make some local friends and see how it goes.

I have had wonderful experience in Kiev so far and yes MP are my backups where I can unload anytime. I will be trying my game with some female tourguides as it is interesting to seduce them into the apartment. The scarcity of foreigners will make the game easier, I hope. It is very strict to go out and in Norway so I need to wait a bit.

Just to give more information; I am 42 years old. In my opinion Kiev is much more young girls and Odessa is more divorced 30's with children. Normally I would never recommend Odessa for winter but one Turkish Captain that I talked in Kyiv recommended Odessa more. He was there just a week ago.

I'm not too sure about your past posts, but I do have to wonder if you have had some abysmal or traumatic experiences in Kiev? If you have already talked about it in this thread, I would be interested in pointers such as year and months so that I could look them up. If you haven't, it'll be for the good of everybody else here.

I myself have not had such bad experience in Kiev. The biggest problem I've had was back in 2010 when my 600 USD cell phone was stolen by gypsies on street, but this is not really related to girls or p4p. Besides, 600 USD was reimbursed to me by my travel insurance company. I have certainly wasted some money on ugly girls in Kiev, but that is not so often and works as lesson to learn.

The biggest problem related to girls / p4p I've ever encountered was in Romania in 2004, and I lost about 200 USD.

Once I was sightseeing in Kiev. So it's winter and at 8 pm I come next to the Golden gate, the only remainder of a 1000 yo city wall. The place is closed and I peer inside through an iron gate trying to discern something since it is already past dark. A guard comes to me and offers to open the museum for me for 20 hrivna I'm, like, let's do it!! I had only 50-nominal notes, so I give him 50, he opens up the place and says that he has no change, but he will exchange the money. I didn't really believe it but didn't care in the end. So I had a museum, albeit a small one, for myself, and the guy actually came back and gave me my change.

So sometimes corruption can be really hilarious, if you're not on the short end of the stick, most often you are, and then it isn't.

My ex wife was Ukrainian. If you you want a drivers license you pay bribe. Good grades in uni, pay bribe. Because you are not seeing the corruption does not mean it does not exist.

Vaccination for frontline workers started in India last month. A few million already vaccinated. People over 50 years will start getting vaccine shot next month onwards. Every week that passed by reported a new low of cases. I guess people got herd immunity.

Have you ever looked at the official corona statistics in Ukraine? There are fewer sick people than in the rest of Europe. For Ukraine, every country is on the red list that has more diseases than Ukraine. So almost all of Europe is red.
