    Mamba girl

I check out Mamba usually once every week or two. Here's a woman who has been sending me messages ad nauseam. She is looking for a sponsor. I asked how much she wanted for a few hours at my flat and she replied "100?" In my opinion she is not worth one hundred (a terrible thing to say about a human being, I know). Speaks English. She was extremely eager to meet immediately so I am sure she's wiling to drop her price. I've got enough on my plate, so have at 'er boys.

Manny, CB's stories reflect the fact that he, like Irish or myself and a few others in the forum, are long-term residents here. We have the opportunity to play the long game. We are not here for a weekend, or a week or two as 99. 9% of the guys who read the forum mostly do. You and they come here and you must then try and make each and every moment or meeting count, be it with freebies or paid pros. We can and do meet all sorts of girls in a variety of social settings and circumstances just like you do at home. Additionally, if you speak Russian and / or Ukrainian, now your world of opportunity expands to every available girl in the city or the region.

I do serial dating and meet women in lots of ways locally, through work, friends, chance meetings etc. I also indulge with the ladies on mamba and also with the pros. Some hook-ups have not been great but since I am here, I just chalk it up to a bad connection and move on, losing nothing, gaining experience and knowledge. For me, though, most experiences over the years have been either mostly good and satisfying with a smaller number truly memorable.

If you think that such opportunities will come your way in a short visit, you will most likely be most disappointed. You need to either have great game, and it is only the rare guy who does have it, or you will need to work at it very very hard with time and opportunity here definitely not in your favor with a short-term stay if you are looking to score a la CB. Lots of work with mamba and encounters in the bars and the clubs will give you your best chances for scoring.

So far it is safe here in Kiev but I do suggest that you stay away from the Maidan area at night. Given the latest events in the east of Ukraine and the explosive political passions, what the situation will be here in six weeks' time is impossible to say. That is also about the time the presidential elections are to be held, perhaps, on May 25. As for me, I have scheduled a 10-day holiday with my current favorite to Spain at that time.

I sent a SMS to Olga (the River Palace contact I still have) asking if she was up for an afternoon fuck but she told me she wouldn't be done work until 18:00 but could we meet afterwards? I told her I had dinner plans with friends (in truth a feebie I am chasing). CanadianBoy, this is a truly inspiring story! Well done, sir!

I have had a few cases of potential freebies where I thought this might be possible, and your story has given me added impetus to try. Will report back to the forum on how it went!

I had already decided the same. I wasn't actually writing for those who weren't listening or reading carefully, or making smug comments that they can afford to ignore my advice. That is to their own peril anyway. My intent was to clarify things for the general readership which does read and benefit from cogent advice, and is generally interested in things like how much is proper to offer a studentka for sponsorship. It's something that comes up for mongers in Kiev. I have written enough on the topic. So there is enough there in the thread so that a careful reader will not get misdirected by all the talk about Kiev having higher income jobs in sectors of the job market that have nothing to do with studentkas' employment options. But thanks for your advice. I sometimes feel compelled to write when it's to correct clearly wrong advice posted on the thread. Why do I care?

It is not in question that the average of all salaries and wages in Kiev city is higher than the rest of Ukraine's cities and oblasts / districts. I have never written otherwise. If you wish to pretend that I am disputing that fact, and posture yourself as if you are correct on this point versus what I have written, you may mislead fellows like CB and others, who haven't read carefully. But it does little to further the advice needed to be given about how much money is reasonable to offer a studenka for a sponsorship support arrangement. So you continue to becloud this issue with your mistaken input.

What I have tried to explain previously is a simple point, which you or anyone else should be able to understand...

I'm going in a few days to Kiev and want to check for some nice company already in advance. Is there any good site beside mamba. Ru for this?

In "professional" ads there is just contact via phone possible and no email or chat contact before.

What about changing money right now? On Airport I assume they will have bad rate, so better fetch money from ATM or Bank or take enough Euro with me to change there?

Many thanks already and of course there will come a report when I'm successful with nice girls.

I just returned from a short stay in Kiev. It is an incredible time to be there after what's been happening recently. After visiting the city, I decided to spend Sunday night at Arena (

    http://www.arena-kiev.com/

). It was empty, but the English speaking hostess was friendly enough and agreed to show me the different bar, restaurants, and clubs. She explained that the club across the square was new and worth a visit. So we walked over there together. There was a bar and a dance floor. There was one nice looking woman sitting at the bar. I decided to stay and order a drink for 90 UAH (6 euros). I soon started chatting with the bartender and then the woman at the bar. She was very friendly and spoke enough English for us to have a few laughs. I decided to offer her a drink. The bartender bought a different drink menu than on one I used. She indicated the glass of white wine that the woman ordered. I followed her finger on the menu to the column on the right. It indicated 150. She asked if I agreed and I said sure. She then poured the wine like it was liquid gold. The bartender had asked me to pay for my drink as soon as I ordered, but not the woman's drink. I became supicious and immediately asked for the bill. The amount was 528 UAH (35 euros). I asked why not 150 UAH. She said that 150 was the amount of milliliters! What a scam. I immediately paid and left the bar, never to return. On the way out, I went back to speak to the friendly hostess. I explained what happened. She said it was my fault for not reading carefully the menu. What a scam.

Later than night, I went to Dolly Salon (

    http://www.salondolly.com/

). For less then what I spent at Arena, I had an incredible 1 hour erotic massage. The woman, pretty, dressed in sexy lingerie, did a great job with the massage. The second part of the massage was incredibly erotic. She was totally naked and oiled for that part. Just no touching her pussy. Highly recommended.
    Comrade,

I am not sure that this is a scam.

It is very common on menus in former soviet countries that the volume of the glass of wine is written next to the price.

Maybe it is a scam, but it might be legit too.

    Regards.

While I've been concentrating my time and efforts on chasing the many feebies available to a gainfully employed man living fulltime in Kyiv, Olga is very sexy and someone I thoroughly enjoy fucking.

It was shortly afterwards, while I was wandering around Maidan, that I received a SMS from Yana. Yana is an early twenties woman I met for dinner back in November. At the time I was too busy with work to chase anymore than one or two freebies, so despite our pleasant dinner together and her obvious interest, I decided to pursue someone else. However, we stayed in touch on Facebook and even promised to meet again sometime. Anyway, with the economic and political instability in Ukraine now, the company she works for has cut down on her hours and she was obviously stressed about it. She was telling me that she wasn't sure how she was going to pay rent next month. I grabbed the opportunity and made a playful remark that I was single and would gladly help with her expenses in exchange for her time. At first she waivered and insisted she was not a prostitute. I told her that of course she wasn't but that we are both adults and why not have some fun together? She said she thought I was handsome, hadn't had sex for nearly 8 months and would certainly think it over.

As I was having dinner with Tanya, the freebie I am chasing, I got a message from Yana saying she would come over to my flat later to talk. Soon afterwards, I gave Tanya a long kiss goodnight and hoped the metro back to my flat. The fact that Yana was not the kind of woman who would normally give sex for money really turned me on. So much so that I did not respond to Olga when she asked again if I wanted to meet tonight.

Yana showed up looking good and after a few drinks I started to kiss her hand and lips. Well, she just left 45 minutes ago after two hours of terrific fucking. The best part was watching those large, perky tits bounce up and down as she rode me. Yana is a warm woman with a playful attitude in bed. I gave her 1000 UAH (91 USD) for her time and told her we could meet again soon, if she wanted. She agreed but made me promise I would not tell anyone about our arrangement.

Most if not all banks at their ATMs have recently put a limit of 1000 grivna per day per card. At the current exchange rate, that is now about $84 and may drop further. You can always go to the ATMs at various banks but you will incur higher currency conversion and multiple bank fees further driving down the effective exchange rate.

Credit cards do work normally so restaurant, hotel, bar, club, store, supermarket and other such purchases are not a problem.

The only good news is that you no longer need your passport to make any currency exchange.

I also suggest that you change any monies on the day and in the exact amount you expect to utilize these payments since the exchange rate has been dropping to the betterment of the dollar / Euro. A week ago the rate was about 11 grivna to the dollar, now is is 11. 90. I would also suggest that you make your payments tot he ladies only in grivna and not in dollars or euros thereby substantially reducing your costs.
As usual, Uke Boy is offering some useful advice. If you are coming to Kyiv you should bring as much Western currency as possible. The economic (not to mention the political) situation here is in dramatic flux. No telling what will happen tomorrow let alone next week.

About currency exchange rates, they might be at 1 USD for 11. 60 UAH on the internet, but not on the streets of Kyiv. I was on and around Kreshchatyk all afternoon today. The highest I saw was 1 USD for 11. 25 UAH (private exchange booths) while the lowest was an inexplicable 1 USD for 10. 90 UAH (banks). I find the exchange rate here is often sluggish to keep up with the rates posted on internet sites. I've also read reports on the internet by Ukrainian economists that the UAH with hover around 10 UAH to the dollar this year. It has already jumped from 8 to 10 and then quickly back to 9 in late February/ early March. Who really know how far the UAH will drop before it rises again.

As for ATM's, there was a run on withdrawing UAH in mid to late February during the height of the fighting which forced banks to place withdrawal restrictions on customers. However, that does not seem to be the case in Kyiv now. I withdrew 6000 UAH just an hour ago with no problem. I watched the man ahead of me withdraw around 2000 UAH with no difficulty. This was done at a very busy 'Agricola' bank at the base of my apartment outside of the city center. This is just my experiences in Kyiv, for what it is worth.

    "Innocent girl"

Caanadianboy, I hear what you're saying. I have a similar experience but in Medellin and while there is no direct money exchanged for the intimacy, there usually are other expenses and I'm the one expected to pay. LOL but that is just to keep things interesting.

Irish Lad, I'm so into the innocent girls and those who simply don't expect every foreigner to bring her back to a fancy luxury apartment just because in her mind a foreigner should! That should tell you who I value the most and seek.

But I would imagine and, at least, from my travel experiences that Kiev like other capitals I've been to (Bogota, Havana and Tiraspol) people there and more importantly women are more hardened and expect more, give less and not as friendly as the other towns. How do you relate your experiences to that. I know CB is in a unique situation but I bet you still can see a distinct differences.
