Alright. Comedy or tragedy. I report, you decide.

Woke up, took care of some blah blah blah, and after all that I sat to "rest my eyes" around 2:45 pm or so. As I opened my eyes and looked at the time I saw it was 8:30 pm and I was feeling totally refreshed! #facepalm.

First things first, dinner is apparently the new breakfast, which I shared with a forum member, and we hung out for a few hours. (you know who you are, that was a good time man.) I could have called it an evening, and I would have been ahead. But that's not how people like us work. I was still wide awake, and my better half got the better of me. "lets get out there and get our hands dirty" said the devil on my shoulder, and that's what I did. I texted the cabby I met the night before, he came to pick me up, and we went over some strategy.

We decided that for tonight, just hit the "easy button" and go to an apartment. Also, we picked a nearby one and went mid-grade all the way. The idea being that this is just price of education, we are gauging levels to find the best game plan for the future. I am here for 2 moths after all, no sense in ruining a good business relationship over petty greed. He explained that the apartments charge me and they give him a commission. I don't pay him anything for the transport, just an optional tip at the end of the night (which I gave him 300 hyr). The price would be 2100 hyr / HR which the girl takes from me. There are places with girls that start much higher, but we'd only cross that bridge if we needed to. He would be waiting for me outside. He also explained that mid week is bullshit and also that girls start early in the evening. By mid-evening they have the burden of exhaustion. Takeout is also on offer at these places, so often times, the best ones get plundered by mid-evening. Therefore, the best way to get the best girls is if you start earlier in the night, and on a weekend. After you've been at this for a while, you'll find one you REALLY like and then arrange for takeouts from that point on. This also gives you time to pop a viagra if you must. Unless you're the kind of guy who does that sort of thing blindly before the evening starts (not knowing if he's going to "get it in" or not) and then after 'exercising the better part of valor' in the face of several gynosaurus rex (aka, just running away), then finding yourself meandering the late night diners hungry as a horse (for being up so late) with a raging hard-on even the kitchen crew can spot through your faded 90's jeans. (when that happens to me I just wink at the waitress and tell her the bus boy brings the best out of me. HAHA) <-- I can make that joke because I bussed tables in college.

The place we went to is real close by, just down the street from men's club. Its unmarked, so you have to know where it is, and they have to buzz you in. In this regard, I'm assuming it helped that they knew my cabby. We went in, I was seated, and 4 beauties were lined up. 2 of 4 were knockout gorgeous, but 1 was a dimepiece, legit (that's the one I picked of course). The remaining one could punch her own ticket in the usa but here, next to those other 3, she didn't stand a chance. I looked over at my cabby and said "I thought you said these girls are merely average, are we in the right place?" he looked over, smirked and said "pssht, average".

I was away from the forum for a while as I have been on my internship in Beijing. Will be back in Kiev in August.

Just checked the exchange rate and found that the usd-grv rate was 25-ish. What the hell is going on? At the beginning this year it was 28 or something as far as I remember. Is Ukraine experiencing a boom in economy? How are you going to deal with situation? Do you think it is the right time to buy a large amount of grivnas to save future costs?

Take a look at 5 years USD to UAH exchange rate. Since the war started it went up, and for the last 2-3 years there is a seasonal fluctuation. Raising when heating season starts, and going down during summer.

Difficult to predict what will happen. I keep my Ukrainian funds (left in Kiev upon each departure) diversified. Half in UAH, half in EUR or USD.

I do think in certain situations it may get dangerous. As a beginer, you may indeed try hotels first. A good choice might be the "Tourist Hotel". There is a security guy but I think no extra charge is due. I never took a "sex for money girl" with me, but some civilians did come. I did, however, book always double room for two persons (which is almost same price as single room).

Apartments are better and bigger, you have a kitchen. Bigger frig. , washing machine, try to rent the apts without concierge, never stayed in a hotel there.

Writing this from my phone sipping on an Americano at the Turkish cafe on K street at 1 am. IMHO there are a ridiculous concentration of ridiculously attractive girls here. Don't listen to this troll DramaFree who hasn't been to Kiev in more than three years. I am on the ground in Kiev and have been here about 7 times in two weeks. Many attractive girls here. Last week on Thursday I counted about 5 girls who rate 8 and a bunch of 7's. There is one blonde working here she is very tall and looks like the actress Daryl Hannah in her prime.
