For those that decide to use Ukrainian healthcare, I just spoke to Medikom. They do have English speaking receptionist on the phone until 20:00. During visit to the doctor medikom can assign qualified interpreter for a fee of 600-800 UAH per an hour.

Keep in mind that many infections are transmitted through poor medical practices, including dentists, etcetera. I would hesitate about going to dentist in Kiev anyway, but for different reasons.

I used medikom for years, however, and trust them wholeheartedly. I am familiar with those who manage money of their owners.

Hepatitis is an STD. HepC virus is especially bad, untreated it slowly destroys the liver over the course of 20-30 years. More than 1% of US population is infected. In Ukraine it is about 5%.

I doubt there are statistical data available on the effect of opening Ukrainian borders to foreigners and increase in infections after the collapse of Soviet system. The war in the East, associate poverty, worsening conditions, marginal elements of society, abuse of all sorts, and subsequent influx of refugees towards the West of the country surely aggravates the picture, that is already rather interesting.

HepC is transmitted through bodily fluids, intercourse included. Getting it through BBBJ / DFK is unlikely, unless blood is exchanged through a bite or sore or gum disease. Similarly DATY and BBFS pose a risk for male partner around female period, including other obvious factors.

HepC virus has been identified only in 1989. Unlike HepA and HepB, there is no HepC vaccine available. Expensive treatments do exist.

Many of us on the Forum know all of this much better than me anyway.

I explain it so that we all stay healthy, and enjoy the hobby to full extent without adverse effects for anybody.

I didn't try them myself. I believe Kozerog or someone else had used much more affordable lab. I would expect sufficient diagnostics available for 1000 UAH or 40 USD. Make sure they can forward the results to you in PDF via email or something.

Doctors in Kiev were giving me their Viber / WhatsApp contacts easily. For professional reasons. And provided free consulting while I was away from Ukraine.

For under 3000 UAH out of pocket, no insurance, you can do the following STD package:

Mycoplasma genitalium.

Mycoplasma hominis.

Microscopy / Cell culture.

Identifying antibiotics resistance / sensitivity.

Ureaplasma urealiticum.

Chlamidia trachomatis.

It is expensive private clinic. One can go to a cheaper lab. There are plenty downtown Kiev.

The above is done by sticking a cotton swab up the penis. It is rather unpleasant. I tried having sex in about 6-8 hours the same day with the lady I knew, it did hurt, and she was disappointed.

I also did blood test for:

Hepatitis of various types.

HIV.

Overall biochemistry, etc.

There are other clinics with English versions of websites:

I doubt many of short term visitors, and even long term, not residing in Kiev, could allocate a week of their mongering time, and not have sex before the departure.

Therefore, choices are multiple:

1. No testing, and fuck in Kiev bare back everything that moves or crawls including 80 years old ladies and truck stop lizards.

2. No GF back home.

3. Move to Kiev permanently.

4. Play the game of chances.

I do number 4. Would prefer number 3.

Can I lower the risk by getting the girls from more expensive agencies? Not necessarily.

2. Testing so that you do not infect your local GF.

3. Play completely protected, and no FDK, no DATY, no nothing. Or even no sex at all. That would be western style. Most likely no testing needed. There is a chance of getting skin infection, but that may happen even in German or British gym.

4. Testing in Kiev.

5. Testing back home.

For 1 and 2 you would need to stay celibate for a few days before and after testing.

Caribbean Club, Lower end, wear pretty much anything except sportswear and you’ll be allowed in. More of a cabaret type club with singers and dancers at various intervals on some nights. Quite a few prostitutes here and some very hard to spot some until they whisper in your ear how much they charge (which is pretty early on so you don’t waste your time and theirs). Some are even paid for by the club itself as you need to pay the club a commission on their services. Prices ranged between 2,500 and 4,000 (£68/£115) for the girls for 2/3 hours. The ones who stand out as prostitutes are the higher end and the ones who just look like girl-next-door girls are at the lower end.
However there are also plenty of local girls looking to hookup which won’t cost you anything except a 200 (£5) taxi fair to send them home in the morning! Had plenty of luck here without paying for it but good luck in working out who’s who! I’d say 50% of the girls I spoke to here could understand English.

Perhaps more success then attempting toin with the formal and public scene? Will be visiting Kiev soon and curious on the approach I should best follow.

Complete waste of time. Just pay, but that is not much better.

Before because there is a certain incubation period that varies for infections of different type: viral, bacterial, fungal, protozoan, etcetera. You may get infected by having sex in the morning right before going for testing, and since the infecting cells count is still low testing will not detect it.

After because likewise you may get infected after testing before the departure from mongering destination.

Also, keep in mind that some of the tests take about 3 days or more before providing the result. Therefore getting tested on the last day is okay as long as your GF agrees to postpone sex for a week.

Also, some prefer buying antibiotics and maybe even shots in Ukraine. Some of the treatments can be started in Ukraine.

And even with the above precautions it is all about the game of probabilities. Different categories of sex and different categories of ladies pose different risk degrees.

I like DFK, DATY, but do not care about BBBJ, and do not want BBFS. YMMV, and that's fine, as long as nobody is abused.

The open secret is: Ukrainian men do not accept sex with a condom. You can ask all women. No matter if the sex is private or for money.

Sex is treated like all other things in Ukraine as well. People do not think about what can be in one or ten years. No money for rent and food. But the latest iPhone in the bag.

With your ideas you think like a man from the west. With house. Money in the bank. Safe job. Not like a person living in ukraine.
