It seems at the moment foreigner can legally enter the country only if they are diplomats or medical professionals. There is a cargo plane carrying medical supplies leaving my country for Kyiv every week, I wish I could get access to it.

All foreigners with a Valid TRP or PRP or with children or wife here can enter still.

I'm sure they will open for tourist / business very soon, the economy can't handle it to long without money coming in.

Unemployment here are already high because of lockdown.

And a lot of people are getting more and more angry, which leads to demonstrations.

Yesterday 300 buses blocked central kyiv because they want their business to reopen.

Some people argue that Belarus statistics cannot be trusted, so better example is Sweden. EuroMomo just released week 20 report: https://www.euromomo.eu/graphs-and-maps Scroll down and compare Sweden and Spain. Recall that Spain did nothing initially, then instituted a harsh lockdown, whereas Sweden has been open continuously. But graphs are similar: sharp rise as covid-19 kills off sick elderly, then decline after all sick elderly are dead. Countries that avoided the plague, like Norway and Greece, are going to experience something similar when they open.

Current estimate is that up to 1% of the population could die in countries with aged populations, like most of Europe. Lower percentage in countries with young populations, like most of Africa. Death rate can be reduced by isolating elderly until vaccine is available. But maintaining lockdown of entire society for several years is unrealistic. Because Ukraine is behind everyone else, they can learn from comparing Spain and Sweden. Unfortunately, Ukraine does not depend heavily on tourism, sexual or otherwise, and Ukraine has always had xenophobic tendencies. So even after ending internal lockdown, Ukraine may still require 14 day quarantine for inbound foreigners.

The lockdown doesn't make much sense to me. Belarus hasn't taken any similar measure and its situation hasn't become significantly worse than Ukraine. Overreaction only makes the economic consequences worse than the virus itself. More girls who have lost their job will be forced to enter the sex industry, which, albeit good for mongers, would be an unpleasant consequence for the society. As far as I know, very few Ukrainians have the habit of saving money, so many unemployed people probably don't have enough savings to get through this difficult time if the lockdown will continue for a long time.

A Ukrainian government official claimed that Ukraine does not intend to open its borders until late June, and that the airlines that had already started to sell tickets are causing confusion for travelers.

In addition: If foreigners can return to Ukraine, a two-week quarantine is mandatory. You are not allowed to receive a visitor during this time. Must be permanently in an apartment or hotel room. The walk to the restaurant or supermarket is not allowed. The authorities have already published an app for monitoring. You have to take photos of yourself and the surrounding area at regular intervals. If the app is not used or if the 2 week quarantine is broken, a penalty will be charged (about 600 dollars). You will also be put in a quarantine hotel.

Lufthansa and WizzAir have started to sell tickets of flights to Kyiv departing after 22 May, the date which Ukraine intends to end its lockdown. However it still remains unclear whether these are only repatriation flights for Ukrainian citizens working in EU and whether foreigners will be allowed to enter Ukraine from that date.

At the moment the quarantine in Ukraine ends on May 22nd. But the responsible ministers have already said that there will be an extension. Air traffic will only resume after the quarantine. Wizz Air and Lufthansa flights are in the system. But will never take place in reality. There are no regular city buses in Kiev at the moment. No metro. The first step will be the restoration of urban transport (buses, metro). The internal routes (trains, intercity buses) should not run again until mid-June.

Flights don't make sense at the moment. Ukrainians cannot enter the EU without a visa. Almost all embassies have closed the visa offices. Foreigners are not allowed to enter Ukraine. Then who should buy the tickets? Wizz Air needs a load of 90+ percent.

This is incorrect. Zelensky stated yesterday that Ukrainians can leave to work in other counties, provided the work visa is at least for 3 months, but no need fur permanent residency:

As for short-term tourism, such as girls visiting sponsors, that is still blocked because of the quarantine, plus very few flights anywhere in Europe currently.

It is correct if you go past the presidential soundbite and read the fine print. Those who have permanent residency can fly anywhere if they show that they actually have attained that status. There is now a flight to NYC on May 20 via Ukraine International. After you buy the ticket, you must submit your information to the US Embassy so that they can facilitate your departure from Ukraine with the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

With Ukrainian "wetbacks" who are seasonal workers, they are free to go provided that they show the MFA a copy of the contract with the company providing at least three months of work as well as "When a country that contacts us through diplomatic relations undertakes to provide our citizens with housing, medical insurance, we can be sure that if something happens to our citizen, they will not throw them out," said the president.

They are allowed to go, no slavery keeps them in Ukraine, but they have to provide documentary proof that they are going to work and be properly provided for. If not, they stay here along with everyone else, for now.

Thanks, very helpful. So that is approximately 560 E (70 E / meeting) per month. I just plan to get a sugar baby in Kiev after the pandemic, so I think how much I should offer.

Until the beginning of the year 2500 uah were equal to 100 dollars. Even if we are in recession: Ukrainians think differently. At the moment it is not clear when men from abroad can travel to Ukraine again. The government plans to close the country completely by 2020/2021. I would not plan for summer and autumn.

I think it is crazy to give any girl $2000 in Ukraine.

Bonus was after 25 meetings of 4 hours each, so $80 bonus per meeting, above usual rate. Backloaded compensation encourages long-term thinking and trust on girl's part. If her trust is justified by actually receiving a good bonus, then that creates further trust and stronger long-term relationship. I am also a big believer in end of year bonuses for regular employees in the business world, for similar reasons of building strong long-term relationships.

As for actual $ amount, I am trying to take this girl off the market and keep her to myself to some extent, so if other guys are discouraged or disgusted by the amount I paid, that's just what I want. I can't ask for monogamy if I'm only in Ukraine 3 months per year, but without monogamy, I won't pay more than $2000 bonus or I'd feel like a fool. So it's a tricky balancing act and I put a lot of thought into this payment issue. Much of that thinking I shared in previous posts.

Note that I'm eventually thinking of moving permanently to Kyiv and then I'd be seeing this girl even more often, so the money I pay now is sort of an investment that might pay off. Regardless, she's inexpensive compared to what I'd have to spend to get an American girlfriend 30 years younger of similar quality.
