UAApartments is ok - never had a problem with airport p/u but you can just about expect zero service if anything goes wrong while you are there. So make sure everything is ok in the apartment before the apartment manager leaves.

I never used them in Odessa, just Kiev. Let me know how it goes in Odessa for you.

My trip is almost planned, I'm going to arrive on the 6th of July to Kiev for 5 nights, then going by overnight train to Odessa for another 5 nights, then going back to Kiev for 1 night and flying back. Have accommodation arranged with UAApartments.com fellows (they were very professional in emails and reservations - we'll see how it will all go with them... hope for the best), some girls pre-arranged with Gia agency, but going to visit nightclubs, do some "hunting"

Hi guys,

This a question for Kiev locals.

I'll be passing thru Borispol on Friday July 15 on my way to Simferopol. My flight lands in KBP at 13:35 and the connecting flight to SIP leaves at 18:45. I only have hand luggage and expect to make it thru immigration and customs in 45 minutes (on previous trips its taken from 30 to 45 mins.). So I should be in the arrivals hall by 14:30. A cab ride into the city takes about 30 mins. But is Friday afternoon traffic as bad here as in other major cities?

The reason for my question is do I have enough time to zip into Kiev and spend 90 mins. with one of the GIA girls and still make my 18:45 flight? I'm concerned about Friday afternoon traffic out of the city when I have to make it back to KBP.

I've never flown domestic in Ukraine. How much in advance should I show up at the check-in counter? International used to be 2 hours (last time I was there, 3 years ago).

Someone posted a while back he had used GIA Apartments and the airport pick up service. There was a male driver and a cutie in the back seat for him. He said he didn't request her and didn't partake.

Most airport driver services are 20-40USD.

Also, has anybody else ever tried the Gia airport pickup service? How does this work? Do one of the girls from the website come to meet with you, or will it be some ugly guy? Is it woth the 35$ ?

I loved Shooters the one time I went there - I ended up getting grabbed up by a group of girls from Moscow. It was jammed packed full of locals, mostly college students. There is nothing wrong with the club per se, it's just that the interior is about as special as a cardboard box.
