Taxi would be tiring too, and there is a risk of car accident. But all of this is not important. IMHO you make yourself vulnerable for no reason.

Let us say you go there, and she is no show. And all this time while you are riding a taxi there, and then wait for her (even if she shows up), and then go back to Kiev, you could have had multiple other girls in Kiev. Each way of your round trip taxi translates into one call girl delivered to your door, or a fancy dinner for two at the nice restaurant relaxing. Especially important if you only have short 5-7 days total time to visit.

Some folks on the Forum here advertise Sumy and Kharkiv and other locations. I am aligned with the opposite school of thought: have the girl come to you, pay for her train or bus upon her arrival to your residence. This is much more efficient. Then they risk to loose time, not you. Infrastructure in Kiev is much more developed in many respects, regardless of the season. You'll have many more options..

There are many apartment rental groups just google. I used to use uaapartments but its been a long while. Always get an apartment close to Kreshatik as it is easy for girls to come in by bus or metro. Baseina, Pushinska, Mala Zhitmoskaya, Michaelovska, Shota Rustevilli are are good central streets.

2013, what a great year! This property doesn't have any reviews, because it has changed landlord. The new one, Elena, I would never rent from. Too bad. Sweet memories, but no more. Agree with Kozerog: stick with good providers once you find one. Read AirBnB reviews. Elena is more than questionable. Good example of what can go wrong with renting.

AirBnb did nothing when the guy complained and I think they took his review down because the landlord lied and said he (the renter) was making the story up to get revenge because of a dispute with the landlord. One person's word against another.

It's also a problem in some cheap hotels. Some countries have strict laws to punish people who record video without permission, but good luck getting help from the police and courts in a situation like this in Ukraine.

Note that you can also install your own camera to take secret videos, in case you suspect the landlord or cleaning person is snooping in your belongings while you are out.

I'm retired and have no friends and little contract with my relatives, so I don't much care if a video of me shows up on the internet doing something with a working girl. Those of you with a reputation to worry about should be more cautious. However, even I don't really like the idea of being filmed in my apartment, which is why I pay $750/ month when I could easily get the same thing for $500/ month (I stay a month at a time in Kiev) because I trust this landlord. The apartment is Khrushchev era with a filthy stairwell. I feel at home there. The little jewel I found after digging through the $50/ hour rubbish heap doesn't seem to mind the humbleness of the apartment either. Mainly she cares about the 500 hrivnia hours neatly spread out on the table.

Also, to whoever wrote that girls frown if sheets aren't "crispy": if they have that sort of prima donna attitude, I suggest you dismiss them right away. Just taxi fare and nothing else. Because if they are that picky about sheets (or renovated modern furnishings versus grandmothers old bed or whatever) , they'll also probably be picky about other things once they get undressed. Though sometimes the worst prima donnas are the most debauched once they get in bed. But in that case, they'll be even more debauched if you make them lie on dirty sheets, or such was my experience with the one prima donna escort I had dealings with (the debauchery was not enough to make up for her other defects, so I stopped seeing her and avoid prima donnas now). Prima donnas usually come from very poor backgrounds, drunken fathers, maybe childhood sexual abuse, etc. The prima donna attitude is a defense mechanism against shame and low self-esteem. If you want a prima donna to love you, you have to treat her badly, same as her father and other men from her childhood. I prefer not to get involved with such mental sickness.
