I've spent 5 weeks in Kiev this year and loved the 2 Eurasia sushi restaurants on Khreschatik. The one by Billa supermarket offers two for one deal between 0:00 and 5:00 and the one behind the Khreschatik metro station offers two for one deal between 15:00 and 18:00. Two for one deal means that it's best to go with another person.

Although I love sushi, I hardly have sushi in Kiev (I only have it when girls want it), but Eurasia has pretty good other Japanese dishes, a good fruit plate (which I order without sugar on top) and a chokolate cake that is as good as it gets in Kiev.

I went there with 3 different girls on numerous occasions.

One of them took a chokolate cake home for her mother.

The best "Mafia" restaurant in Kiev is at the Khreschatik. Near to Buddha Bar.

You can be happy that the girl wants to meet you in a Mafia restaurant.

The service is fast and they are not very expensive.

But the quality of the food isn't really good. Be prepared to sit next to some people who ordered a "one meter pizza".

If she really loves sushi and you don't want to spend too much money (Buddha Bar), it's better to go to the "Yellow Sea" restaurants.

You need to obtain more information from the person you are planning to meet. I have seen at least 3 locations of Mafia Restaurant, throughout the city, but Google maps show many more locations. You will find one of them near Budda Bar on the Kreschatyk.
