Despite being very tired fro the trip and the delay, I was determined to make my time in Kiev count. My plans for the night would be to call somebody over to my place and then go to a strip bar or club. I called a pro from mamba, whao had quoted me a price before my trip, relatively good english, and she insisted that she is the same girl with the photos. About 25 minutes later 2 girls are standing on my door, none bearing any resemblance to the photos. I guess they figured that the chance of the client rejecting the girl would be lower if he I presented with more choices. They were not bad, one of them could be a 7-8 in my scale. Nevertheless, I sent them away and take a taxi to Rio.

As you enter Rio they scan you with a metal detector, and a guy asked me if I carry any guns? I was ready to joke, but thinking that I don't know anything about ukranian sense of humor and possible reactions, decided not to. The club is separated in 4 areas and they sit you in the area that has the less people. Dancers just rotate from area to area, an estimate would be that there were around 20 girls working, most 5-7 and some 8-9. Most of them had a nice body though and the whole show was sexy. I asked a guy with a suit different questions about the club, like private dancing, taking a girl out, etc. And he responded that he cannot help me and he would call the manager instead. After 5 minutes the manager explains very politely and with good english all the different options. Regarding taking a girl out though, he says that this is a matter which can be discussed only with the girl.

The first girl that struck me was a tall brunette with a cute face, so I ask her to come over, which she does but after 40 minutes and after having to remind the service guy again. We speak a little and I take her for a private dance, during which she told me that she is only dancing so no take out option. Next I pick another tall brunette with a nice rack, she comes to my table and leaves in 5 minutes saying that she will be back. Never saw her again. I pick a 3rd girl that come also 30-40 minutes later and after a private dance she quotes me 400$, but I offer her 300$. She agrees and she says that she will come back. I wait for her 15-20 minutes and decide to leave. From the 3 hours that I stayed there 90% of the time I was waiting for a girl and the rest 10% I was with a girl. What is the deal here? Am I missing something? In any other strip bar I have the problem to keep the girls away, in Rio it seems the opposite is true. It was a busy night, but I do not know if this the standard there.

Leaving Rio, I decided to visit Budha bar, it was only a 5 minute ride with a taxi. In the entrance though they tell me that there is a private party, so no entrance allowed. Regarding calling girls in your apartment, I think I found a strategy that might work: After having already sent away 3 diffferent girls that they didn't look like their photos, I now tell the agency straight away that I know that the photos are fake, so ask them to just send the most beautiful girl that they have. In the meantime, the doorbelll rang and a real beauty was standing there. I think it was the doing of the first agency girl. So lucky me, that is what happpened. A real beauty did show up $100 USD an hour. Then while she was at my apartment and we were trying to communicate using Google translate the girl I had invited showed up, and they were both ok to stay together. There are also apartments as you suggest. I asked a taxi driver if he knew where there were apartments with girls and he took me around to three places. I didn't stay because of language issues. Etc.) written out in Russian in yes or no format. So you can just point to the question and get a yes or no answer (the or Nyet). So girl apartments are an option that exists. And needs reporting about on this board.

You can always also try your luck negotiating with WG's who show up at Buddha Bar after midnite. They will all probably want a two hour session. But as it gets late you might get that down below $200. $150 for two hours is a good price if you can get it. More likely later at night with less spectacular looking girls, but possible.

Street Meat in Kiev (6th June 2010)

A couple of people have recently asked about 'Street Meat' in Kiev.

I was there last week and can confirm that there are streetwalkers available!

Every evening on Khreschatyk St. There were girls to be found.

If you walk along the street, where the sidewalk is widest, there are benches under the trees where you can find hookers. Each evening I saw an average of 8 – 12 girls within Half a mile or so.

Prices quoted to me were. 500 Ukranian. 50 Euro, and 60 $US (depending on where the girls guessed I was from!)

I did not find a 9 or 10 there but many were 7-8 on my scale.

One girl, tall, blonde and slim with amazing fun bags quoted me 50 Eu for some fun back at my hotel, with no time limit. Had a great 2 hour session and phoned her the next day for a repeat. This time she stayed around 3. 1/2 hours also for 50 Eu and would have stayed the night but I had to get up early the next day.

NOTE. You will also find 'civilians' waiting for friends or looking for company on these benches but for any experienced Monger it should not be difficult to sort out which is which.

Given a bit of time it was perfectly possible to set up a date with some of the civilians over a coffee or a beer for a date the next evening. From then it was quite easy to 'have your wicked way' with them for the price of a meal or a few beers!

After wandering for around 40 minutes contemplating my options I finally met him in a place far from the arrivals hall, I guess he had just given up on waiting for me due to the delay, but then again that's not an excuse. 30-40 minutes later he was dropping me off to the only close to my specifiactions apartment in an old building in Pushkins'ka street in the center.

First impressions:

-Communication is a huge problem. None from the people I met so far speaks a word of english. Simple things like getting a sim card, activating or topping it up and generally finding your way around take time.

-The city (at least the center) looks much nicer than what I had in mind.

At the moment, although I feel tired from the trip, I intend to call some pros from mamba and top-modals, to get a first feeling of the available talent. Having read previous reports, I certainly do not have high hopes, but we'll see.

Guys, I spent Thursday night at Rio strip club and, according to the managers at Rio, the Paradise is a sister strip club and does have take out. It is a bit far out of downtown though.
