You're right that the massage place was behind Fridays, just in the courtyard I think apartment 48 or something like that. Day 3:
I'm noticing that the nights here go on forever. We just relaxed in the day. I went back to the massage place in the day and got another girl who I saw the night before, now she's all dolled up looking better. Her name is Olga, tall like 6ft, blonde, slim, leggy, young, but she did have a slight bit of attitude in that she wanted things done her way. That was the only turn off. Good time? Yes. Repeat? No. This is something you notice at the massage places in general. But all in all a good kiss massage at 400 grivna which involves them kissing all over your body and helping you release a bit of juice. I like.

But I guess in general, realise this is still somewhat cowboy country with cops hunting for tourists to scam as much as mongerers hunting for pros to fuck. So just be careful.

We ended up meeting this really cool guy who took us to River Palace, introduced us to all the girls as he knew many, even though we could have obviously done it ourselves, but nothing like just sitting there and having girls sent to you one after another. I liked it, but the prices ARE ridiculous. Girls opened at $300, and I got it down to like $200 for some, but some won't budge. So we're sitting there drinking and I'm just wondering what the hell is going on, she kept putting her face up to mine and tried to kiss me, in between hitting up the dance floor. But I was not paying $300. She gave me her number and to call her, but I'm pretty sure her game was simply to just get me to fork out $300 in exchange for seeming so nice. If she was offering $150 I'd prob be way more up for it.

So while I haven't blew much cash so far, the nights have been getting better (and continued to). Not in a rush to do as many girls as possible but just taking my time and we're just having a great time. Sex is easily available, but I think to get down the prices you need to take your time and be able to negotiate. day 1:

tip: get hold of a local simple life sim card - it's prob the best, you can pick one up at the airport for like 30 + 50 credit which doubles bonus up to 100 grivna, which is more than enough to last the average punter for the entire trip.

i didn't really explore the city that evening, as my friend came over so we just hung out and talked, but i was already excited by the sights along kreschiatik. yum. we went out and got some food, and sat outdoors and watched the sights of all the gorgeous girls walk past. we witnessed some stuff going on, it seemed like some of the cafes have semi-pros or pros sitting around. in fact i read a tip on here about sitting at an outdoor cafe with a foreign paper, and i witnessed something like that. the guy ended up leaving with these 2 girls, shortly after some other old turkish guy took the hottest girl from that group. i suppose everyone has a price. i would like some enlightment on this. the place i am referring to is outside the life cafe on kreschiatik. i was getting strong eye contact from a couple of girls but hey it was my first night and while i probably should have worked it, we had to wake up very early for chernobyl the very next day.

so the girls in buddha bar are pretty fine. people say it could become the next decadence, but we'll see. i chatted up this very naughty looking babe at buddha bar dressed in a miniskirt and black stockings, and my mate spoke to her friend who was a complete stunner. turned out she is not a pro but belongs to a very elite family here in kiev. my girl kept asking for my number, but my friend had her friend's so i left it at that. she would eventually manage to get hold of my number through her friend who got it off my friend.

conclusion: it's surprisingly easy to have a fun night out in kiev. in fact i was having so much fun, that i was focusing less on the goal of sex. despite potentially the occasional setback from stereotyped racism towards minorities, freebies definitely can be had, and we're in for a good time...

here is just a quick mini cultural learnings of ukraine for make benefit glorious nation of isg (or just an excuse to write up my adventures thus far).

i've been wanting to come out to kiev for years, but never had the guts to after being told by a few informants that it was cowboy country, racist, corrupted no laws, etc. so i held it off.

then one glorious day i decided it was enough and i needed to make it an adventure.

pre-homework (after my sister give me pleasure

1. i went and read through this forum all the way through the start of 2009 (i think it's about 30 pages or something - will take a couple of hours, unless you are some speed reading guru) and took a few notes.

2. i converted it into my own mini guide and stuck it on my iphone. but truth is, no matter how much you read, it might help you avoid some tourist traps but you really just have to go and see it for yourself.

3. i arranged an apartment right off kreschiatik through a friend. imo is probably the best location to be in view that i am in prime location for eye candy. i like.

4. some of the very awesome and helpful members here gave me some great tips (word out to diceman, cruiserd, ukeboy, tremayne, doctorskank, ittravel, irish lad, bez bezzara, and piper). read their posts (i would also highly recommend checking out posts from guys like hecker and 109 who have a great understanding of the local freebie scene, something i've come to get a very basic grip of over the last 4 days, and re-reading their posts make complete sense)

What a wonderful, unique, exciting and infuriating city Kiev is.

I'm no stranger to the place, but I did a few things this time round that I haven't done before. First off, I wasn't there for anything work related, it was all pleasure, and I was there on my own staying in an apartment.

So it's my first day in Kiev, the sun is shining, the girls are wearing very little and I couldn't be happier with myself. Then some poor guy drops a wad of cash whilst walking in front of me. Does anyone not know where this is going?

The funny thing is, I know about this scam, I've quietly scoffed at others who've been taken. Anyway, before I can stop myself, I've picked up the money and tapped the guy on the shoulder. He asks where the other one is, the 'cop' shows up. I suddenly twig, and quite literally slap my own forehead, says Poka and walk off at a brisk pace expecting a hand on the shoulder any moment. From the safety of the next bar I stopped in, I had a good chuckle at my own expense. Good luck to them but I'm glad I got away with it.

Now for the girls. I've travelled enough to know that if you want good conversation, pick up an aussie girl, if you want a girl to nag you to death, go English and if you want a woman to shag you into the ground, ukrainians can't be beat. Feel free to argue.
