I was in Kiev about 6 months ago for a 3 days business trip. Something similar happened to me twice. I was at Coyote Ugly Bar, it was pretty late and I was very drunk. When I left the bar, I couldn't find a Taxi right away, so I walked a bit trying to find a Taxi. About 4-5 young guys followed me from the Bar and about 50 meter later they threatened me with knives. It was the first time something like this ever happened to me in Kiev and elsewhere. (I was in Brazil in the Favelas, at 4 am in Harlem, walked in some nasty places in Bangkok, Egypt, Ethiopia and some dangerous places I don't even remember.) I gave them all the money I had in my wallet, but they wanted also to search me and take my watch. I defended myself, pushed them away and yelled at them so they left. I am a big guy in the late 40's. But me being very drunk must encouraged them to attack me.

One day later, I was out with my Ukrainian business partner, I stayed at a flat in Krishiatek close to Arena. The entrance of the building was at the backside. So some guys followed me from the main street. I noticed this and walked faster with my Keys in my hand and ran the last 5-10 meters, opened the door to the building and was just fast enough to close the Building door without letting them in. So be careful out there, poverty in Ukraine increased and so also criminality.

I am glad both times went relatively smooth and I wasn't injured or beaten.

Kiev isn't the city it was 4 years ago. I should travel to Kiev in the next 2-3 weeks but I am trying to change the plans and meet my Ukrainian business partner elsewhere like in Turkey.

I must also say, that the quality of WG's I met last time (a mix of Mamba, Ukrgo, Riverpalace, Patiba and top-modals.com) weren't close to the WG's I met in my previous trips 3-5 years ago.

I am going to Kiev in about a week and besides renting a flat I have rented a car. My ambitions are to pick up girls in different areas and bring them back to my place. Would that be a problem? My head / half of face got busted early Thursday morning! Lot's of blood on my face, shirt and pants. Ended up in an ambulance taking me to a hospital and got many stitches.

This never happens before.

Update on my plans. I will be leaving for Kiev on the 21st. Will stay overnight in Frankfurt and hit FKK Oase for a night. Will get to Kiev on the 23rd and stay till the 31st. I've made some plans with a couple of Mamba girls, one of them recommended here, and I'm contacting a few others. If none workout then off to Rio and other apartments. Thinking on my numbers, that's around a 3-5 percent chance the woman you've set your hopes on will not leave with you. That's been my experience at other Kiev strip clubs, although in some cases the sample size is much smaller and the percentage larger. I'd encourage you to try out some of the other strip clubs; many of the clubs have wonderful dancers. You might try a erotic massage as well, I've had mixed results at Relax (Pushkins'ka Str. 31 V, in back of the Premier Palace Hotel, go through the gate, go to the back of the parking area, there's a recessed entrance leading down). Not sure there's any need for such a childish tone, we're here to trade information, not bicker like 12 year olds. And considering you've posted twice, I'd recommend building a little credibility first.

Anecdotally I can tell you that Kiev does seem a more dangerous place than in pre-Maidan times. On my last trip I saw a guy getting punched out in an alley just off Kreshatyk at 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon. The trip before that I saw a big fight just outside the entrance to Skybar. It might not be reflective of the actual situation there, but it does feel like the problems with Russia and the economy are resulting in more xenophobia than had been seen previously. But like any big city, there are morons everywhere and you can easily avoid situations where the risk is high by not getting too drunk, walking the streets late alone, wandering into the wrong side of town.

As for Lviv, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to call bullshit there. English speaking girls just aren't as common in Lviv as Kiev. And hooking up with them is definitely more challenging with no Ukrainian / Russian. There are some great clubs there, but unless you have a wingman and decent game, you simply aren't going to get far with non P4 P girls if you haven't done a lot of work before you get there on dating sites.

David, Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time in Kiev, I think you're right in that having Russian as a language skill opens many more doors and provides more opportunities, which is odd considering more girls probably speak english now than at any other time in the last 15 years. For me, Tinder and Badoo both worked incredibly well both for short-term hookups and "dates" but you need to have it on the minute you arrive and really get swiping right on as many elligible candidates as possible. It took at least two days for both apps to "warm up".

I am in Ukraine now. I like it here quite a bit. However, I don't think this is quite the mongering destination it used to be. It is also getting unsafe. The people here are extremely racist against people who don't look like them. I blend in, but those who do not are treated badly. There have been many assaults in recent weeks against foreigners visiting Ukraine. As the political situation deteriorates, I imagine this will only get worse.

I am not a serious monger, but I did have a chance to visit with an apartment girl in Kiev. It was a nice experience, but she was only average looking and I spent about $150 for 1.5 hours. I have a couple of other friends here who have had similar experiences. Don't get me wrong, she was petite and the sex was good. The sex was better and cheaper and the girls were much hotter in Bangkok.

There are very hot girls in certain parts of Kiev, but to be honest, those girls are spoken for. There are more Range Rovers per capita in Kiev than in Chicago. The statics suggesting this place is poor are false. There is a huge black market here and there are a ton of rich guys.

I honestly think the sex scene in the FKK clubs in Germany is better for the average monger.

Also, there is absolutely zero value to being a middle class American. Unless you are willing to stay at the most expensive hotel in town, purchase a table at the best club in town, score drugs, and shell out $200/500 per night for the girl, you will not be achieving much with the 9's-10's you fantasize about and see on model sites and web porn videos.

You can get that girl much cheaper and easier in Germany at a high end brothel.

Also, the language barrier is fairly high. If you don't speak fluent Russian you will not be able to find a hot girlfriend in Kiev. You may find a decent middle-aged girl, but the quality is not that much higher than in the US or western Europe. Also, most single girls over 25 in Ukraine are high-mileage, and many are retired prostitutes. If you go to Lviv, you must speak Ukrainian (not Russian) to be able to connect with girls there. Otherwise, you are limited to about 5-10% of the population who are fluent in English. The monger scene in Lviv is nonexistent.

Been in Kiev so many times. Last in may. Many friends come there in summer, never seen nothing. I only see last year some nazi beating a Turkish. I agree the black man especially are not well seen in Kiev, but it's minority.

The rest in my opinion is a bit of frustration from somebody who doesn't have a clue about Kiev, probably first time. You paid 150 dollar for an hour and half with an average girl, this speaks a lot about you not knowing the situation.

In my opinion you expected to fuck model for penny, that's why you prefer FKK. If you look for prostitutes there are better chance, even the problem is how you look. If you go sky bar, and they like you,. Is probably a 150 dollar night with top notch girl. Language is not a barrier. Again if they like you.
