I spent around $2000/month for the apartment that I just left on Baseina - I would pay the same for the same apartment in NYC, London, Boston, San Fransico, Paris or Rome. Prices are kept artificial high by the banks, real estate companies and corrupt members of the goverment to pork anyone brave enough to venture into Kiev. Sure, I am willing to take my fucking like a good boy, but please, don't tell me I am getting a good deal.

Base on the Kiev/Ukraine economy and tourist culture I should have been paying around $35-40/night or around $1000/months - which is what the prices were about 16 months ago by the way.

On my second day, I sent an SMS to the dark haired tall girl that I had seen in RP. I asked her if she would like to get together that evening. She replied saying "You know how mach $300". But when we exited Arena, Cruiser pointed out Club 112 to me which I had read about here. So I thought I would give it one more shot. Cruiser called it a night since he was tired and really was just showin me around. Gotta tell you folks, Cruiser's a real gentleman, and went out of his way to help me out. Thanks bud.

Well Cruiser D, if I were to be honest I'd have to say that my luck at RP hasn't been that great over the last week, but the one time I was seriously looking I did connect with a very pretty little lady who spent a couple of hours with me for $150. This wasn't her starting price but after a couple of drinks and a lot of conversation we reached neutral ground, whenever the subject of high prices comes up with these girls they immediately start reeling of a long list of all the things in Kiev which have gone up recently, rents, food, clothes etc. I do admit to being a little bit biased where RP is concerned, but that's because my best mongering experiences in Kiev have always started in RP. i think it's a combination of a few different things. a lot of tire kickers are coming to the boat now. and if anyone didn't know or didn't realize 90% of the girls there network with each other and i don't think any one of them want to 'devalue' themselves in the face of their peers. i think we all know in general how vain girls can be and ukrainian girls in particular - there is a reason why there are mirrors in 95% of the clubs (and no, it isn't for the 45-60 year old businessmen). heck, everything else is overvalued in kiev for the foreigner, why not the boat too.

bandit7 - it's hard to put a precise ratio on the proportion of p4p girls in moda , but assuming things are as they were before the refurbishment the ratio is somewhere between 99.8-100%. this is just a rough estimate though.

Tremayne, the Boat is nothing like it used to be. I hang around with a carde of westerners that live in Kiev half the year and own their own apartments here. I even hang around with a guy who the staff greets by his first name when he comes to the Boat and we all agree, that ship has set sail - compared with other alternatives in Kiev.

I've been to the Boat three times during this trip and the action and female/male ratio was nothing even close to like it was in the past.

Sure the 5-6 and sometimes 7's can be had for $100-150 after a little mojo but even they start out at the standard $300. But I tend to work the 8's and 9's. I'm doing very very well in the normal (if you want to call it that) Kiev dating scene this trip, so I know it isn't my game.

The night I went it seemed like a group of Middle Easterns were dancing with each other (I thought Traveling Male was going to puke on himself. He was still recovering from our trip to PaTiPa that Saturday night when we stumble unknowingly on Young, Happy and Gay night). I doubt they had any really money. Because the next night I saw them wearing the same clubbing clothes at Arena. Like I said the Boat has become a joke of itself. Now it's attracting tourist who just come for the spectacle.

And as I mentioned in a previous post the girls aren't doing as nearly a brisk trade as they have in that past. During prior trips to Kiev and visits to the Boat I used to see couple leaving who had concluded their business deal from the moment I sat down to the time I left. And to be honest in the last three visits I saw very few male/female couples leaving together.

I have been to Moda Bar several times and can confirm that they are not all p4p. In fact, I even dated the security girl at Moda Bar and she was far from being a p4p. I also met 2 students that were not there for money at all. It's difficult to set a ratio, but for me, it was more like 50 % than 99 % !

I cannot confirm about Arena, but not 100 % p4p for sure.

Guys, any info on Patipa ? Is it a good pickup place ? It seems to me it is more of a normal place for locals to go out. Could be one of the best places for non-pros ?
