I was banned also with the "IP ban" few weeks ago. I was just about to call my ISP and have my IP address reset when I could log in again. Mamba send a message in system to say it was a mistake that I was banned. They also gave me some "currency" as apology. So, give it another day or so to see if it reset. If not, call your ISP to have your ip address reset (or use a free wifi to login to complain).

Just send an e-mail to administrator with your apologies and tell them you didn't aware of the rules that you didn't obey. Wait for a few days. That s all you have to do. They will remove the block for you if you can be convictive.

Kiev is just not the city to hire guides. Nightlife is concentrated in the center, just about all walkable and dominated by foreigners.

I hired him a few years ago in to take me around Kiev, and last year to arrange a week-long bachelor party for a friend of mine. You have some good points regarding guides, but if a less experienced traveler wanted to hire one for Kiev or somewhere else in Ukraine Alex really would be the way to go.

I appreciate the "respect" and the gentle tone of your writing. But, for all I know you could simply be another profile created by Alex himself to promote his own services. You have very few posts on this forum, which suggests a profile recently created for the purpose of writing what you just wrote to promote Alex the guide.

It would be different if a member who has hundreds of detailed action reports going back years in other mongering destinations, reported about a guide he used in Kiev. There would be a little more credibility. But, I'm sorry to say that I remain unconvinced by your post. Neither you, nor USGrant have posted the kind of details in an action report that could validate you as real mongers. The mere generalized lauding, continuously and frequently, of the Alex the guide, over and over, is plainly advertising and promotion.

I would like to see you, and USGrant and Alex, post actual action reports which contain details, and contain actual helpful information to other mongers. This is what's missing from your posts, and the lack thereof betrays you as a mere advertisement.

I don't speak Russian, and I have read this forum and learned the basic information needed to find girls in Kiev for p4p, adding a little of my own ingenuity and skills to further my goals. But as to the question of whether Alex is actually qualified, I would want to see more details and helpful information in reports emanating from someone praising Alex, so that the veteran mongers can evaluate the information and insight coming from the guide, and see whether it is valid and helpful. Until then all we know is that he can take your money, but not really whether he can produce!
