- Avalon night club.
- “Grill Asia” Restaurant, located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Fusion food. Expensive. Recommended.

at 12:25 i arrived at boryspil airport for the 5th time this year.

on the flight to kiev i was handed the traditional registration form. i got confused, since the registration form was not necessary on my last trip in september. usually passport control take the left side of the form (arrival) and you get to keep the other half, stamped by passport control, but this time i got the entire registration form back unstamped.

anyhow, passport control and luggage pickup were done within 15 minutes and i headed to the arrival hall and found my driver from ua apartments, who took me to my apartment on 19 baseina street (price for transfer was 35 usd, price for apartment was 84 usd for a nice 1 bedroom apartment with jacuzzi). after settling in i repeated the usual procedure: exchanging money and buying supplies. last month the € exchange rate was around 10. last week it was around 11 with 11.10 at the highest, so without any effort i got 10 % more value for my money. nice! the $ exchange rate seems to be stucked at 7,94, though.

What you write is probably all true, in any case it's your experience, therefore valid, I also do not look at Kiev through pink glasses, however for me it is balanced by a shitload of very good experiences, with highly educated, non materialistic women, who are just looking for a good time and are not interested in expensive food, drinks, presents or whatever.

In my experience, Kiev is not very different from other cities/countries in this regard. Different categories of women everywhere I think.

In my excitement, I forgot the best part. I discovered a great scam: teaching English. Hundreds of English schools across Kiev are always in need of native speakers to run "speaking clubs". These are basically, one one-hour sessions in which people come to talk with a native speaker. If you are a "native" English speaker, particularly with some experience in the educational system, they will gladly have you leading one of these sessions. Just phone up a few schools ask for a job, and soon you will have a paid gig (100-200 Grn/hr.). Of course, do not tell them that you will leave tomorrow, and be willing to do one session for free. Anyway, these clubs are attended by professional people, mostly young women, who come just from the office in their "sexy office girl" outfits. Truly outstanding! Just pick your favourite(s) at the end of the class and suggest that you can continue the session at the bar across the street. From there it is up to you to see how far you can take it!

And I should mention that regardless of how many girls one gets in a given time period, how much you pay, or whether one finds true love among them, the real attraction of Kiev is the thousands of gorgeous women who litter the streets nearly 24 hours per day.
