Posted a few pics from Trip # 1, will work on Trip #2 pics soon. Wanted to get some of my observations, lessons learned from Trip # 2 below. I have started to write up Trip # 3 and will post soon since I have received numerous PMs from many of you on latest info before several travel to Kiev in the next few weeks. If you are going let me know because I did ask several girls if they would like to meet some of my "friends" who also visit Kiev and theyh said yes.

Kiev Trip #2 Observations

While using the cell phone that the apartment let me use was good and clearly better than my last trip to Kiev, I think I will probably buy a cheap unlocked phone and get a sim card and buy the minutes. I can personally attest to the fact that if they like you (e.g. you are not a creep), you may find yourself sleeping in their (quite nice) apartment for an all nighter for a small donation.

I hope this is useful for anyone interested in a change of pace from the usual haunts, or anyone stuck for 3 weeks at the hotel in winter, like I was.

I totally agree with Bez. For all you would be mongerers there is life outside Khreshatik and the $300 a night apartments you rent. Try slumming it once in a while. Venture out of the centre where Bez's description is totally accurate. People life in shit holes. It does not mean they are dangerous. Try Hydro Park on a Sunday night.
