Use google. Translate.com
Select Russian to english
Enter the web site: slando.com.ua
Hit translate,
Click on apartment rent and look.
You can even select apts from owners.
Points to remember. An agent will charge 50% of 1st month for commish.
Most owners want at least 5 to 6 months 'terms'.
Ps. Good luck in finding a $200 flat. Rooms are renting for that in some areas.

Posts: 25Well, then I can relax, I just don't want to feel that I am getting cheated (too much), so if this is the scenario for the rest of you guys, I am fine with it. I had started to think that I was missing out of some goldmine here in Kiev, but as you say – I am at least 10 years too late (and that hurts).
No girl – neither here nor in Poland (this summer) – has so far agreed on photos! I do not know how you put the question to them, but as soon as I reach for my camera or mobile phone they just say "no, no!", and I am not pushing it further than that.
I like the atmosphere there (RP), so for me it is not a problem to arrive at midnight or 1 am, and stay till 4, 5 or 6 am. And if there is a possibility for a better deal – I will take it. It is also some kind of competition, inner satisfaction, to get as good deal as possible.
Soon I may actually catch a whizz-flight to Poland for some good $50-deals. I won't miss that boat.

Kurenda,
Thanks for answering my questions. This information is very helpful.
I am in the process of getting visas for Belarus and Russia. You are right, it is a complicated process.
I will definitely have decided Kiev is best. Now, my strategy is to line up some freebies before I get there using Mamba and Flirt.
I will write some questions in the other Ukraine thread regarding finding an apartment. Since, I am a student, I would like to find something in the $200-300 USD a month. Is that possible?
Thanks again for the advice!

As for sitting around every night drinking and waiting until 4 o'clock in the morning to get a girl, just to save $80, well, that must be some kind of young man's fantasy. To me, sleeping all day is just not an option that makes any sense.
By the way, where's the fotos of the five $200 River Palace girls you've paid for????

Posts: 314Hal pay attention to this:
Most "blonde" nation are baltic states like Lastvia and Estonia.
In Ukraine if you go to very south there will be more dark haired people becuase of the greek influence. In average there will be more blond people in Ukraine than in Latvia since Ukraine has more than 10 times bigger population.
No matter Belarus is less explored for a foreigner it's more costly country than Ukraine. In Belarus there's simple rule: everything domestic is cheap and everything western and imported is VERY costly. If we talks about good time, night life and availability of sex Kiev is XXX times better than Minsk.
If you stay in Kiev and want to go to Belarus and Russia it will be harder than you think. Since you're US citizen belarusian visa you can get only back home. Belarus law doesn't allow to get their visa in third country. There are exceptions but it's very costly. On the other hand you can get russian visa in Kiev if you have a permanent stay in Ukraine but usually it's bitchy because of strain relations between Ukraine and Russia. So the best is to make trips to Moldova and Poland and also baltic states but only by air.
About making prior contacts try dating sites like mamba but don't rely much on it. Don't use any "marriage agency" they are mostly after your money and big rip off.

Posts: 25I just wonder how to get girls for 450 grivnas/hour.
Definitely not at River Palace. And the girls at the apartments cost 900–1200 grivnas if you want the best apartment-girls.
Basically I only look for top-of-the-line-girls, and I would love if they only cost 450 grivnas/hour (now we are talking!).
During the two weeks I have spent in Kiev I have been 7 times at the River Palace, and brought home 5 RP-girls so far. I guess all girls go when you tell them $200, and there is absolutely no need to pay more.
The problem gets to bringing down the price more. It is not such a problem when coming to students and average-looking girls, but the best RP-girls are pretty hard to negotiate with, even though my friend went with a very hot girl for only 1000 grivnas (120 dollar). It was the second time with her, so I guess it was some kind of discount, and time had also passed 4 o'clock.
Interesting is that most girls go home alone if they have a "bad" night. Their motto seems to be "better no business than 'bad' business". And I cannot help smiling inside when I see this happen night after night. Have they ever heard of the expression Supply and demand?
Last night a whole bunch of Ukrainian businessmen entered, I guess only for drinks and some fun (read observation). But I wonder how much a local pay at these places. Having in mind how much (little) they make a month there is no way they pay as much as we do. And I wonder when I will be paying these prices.
I do not know how it would be going to a fancy place like Arena, but my friends told me that the girls there are even more cold-hearted and greedy than the RP-girls, only looking for free drinks, entrances, expensive dinners, and pampam – suddenly you are in a Prada-store shopping – without getting anything back.
"Men often should come back home with no woman if price is not Ukrainian sized". Sounds as a good idea I will try to implement more often than so far – but you always want a good start of a new journey...

I was also leaning for Kiev for the following reasons, I'm a US citizen, no visa needed. Also, it seems like there is more mongering to be done there.
Also, hopefully, I assume lots more freebies who understand English.
Based on what you said, the culture seems to be more liberal than Belarus so maybe the freebies would also be easier.
1. The only hesitation I had was whether there are more blondes in Belarus than in Ukraine.
2. Also, since Belarus is less explored, it is cheaper and easier for a foreigner to pick up freebies.
I would be interested to hear from you guys abour your thoughts on this?
Based on what you have told me thus far, I will stay in Kiev and go on trips to Belarus, Russia and Moldova.
Any ideas for me on how to set up some easy freebies before I get there. Do you recommed any good dating sites that I can check out prior to getting over there? What about those marriage sites? I am definitely not interested in getting married but are there any ways to meet some easy freebies who want to meet foreigners through those sites? Any you would recommend?
Thanks so much for all the advice. It is very helpful. I am really excited and looking forward to this extended trip.

For people who speak Russian, dude understand this or else you need to go to Premier Palace Hotel and spend over 20,000$ in a month or 3 weeks to satisfy your needs. You're free.
