Uke - Don't be too hard on the guy. We all overpaid on our first or second trip there - well actually I didn't (cough cough). Personally, I am not sure why this need to overpay the local ladies and agencies.

The proper locals rate right now is $60 per hour. I do not pay any more than that for any pro just simply on principle alone and there are many who are willing to accept this figure.

Even if the lady adds something for the fact that most mongers now are linguistically handicapped and need an English-speaking companion, the most anyone should pay is $75 or less per hour.

Anything more than that just makes the local pricing structure just crazy.

Unfortunately, most guys once they get here think more with what is between their legs than what is between the ears.

well, i haven't had a chance to report in awhile, so when i had a chance to visit kiev, i definitely took the opportunity. first thing i noticed upon arriving in kiev is the absolute abundance of beautiful women. i mean, just walking down the street or in a restaurant, they are everywhere, and dressed to kill.

Statistics are what they are, an average (between Kiev and the most remote village of the country). It doesn't reflect the reality in Kiev.

Ukraine may be poorer than Poland overall (and it's a big "may"), but Kiev is more expensive for me than Warsaw. How much did you pay for hotel in Warsaw and in Kiev? I pay more in Kiev, and my staff is paid more in Kiev. That's a fact, not statistics.

So if you have been to Warsaw and Kiev and have practical experience, I'll be pleased to hear from you. After all, the hotels and the staff in Kiev may be screwing me. If not, ...., as I said, it's just wishful thinking.

I've been to Albania and Poland recently. Albania is clearly poorer, Poland is also poorer in my opinion (we pay lower salaries in Poland than in Ukraine).
