I have a short 6-day vacation coming up in a few weeks. I am in the process of choosing a destination. I am thinking of Colombian cities like Medellin or Bogota where I am familiar with the surrounding and have no problem with the language, and Kiev where I have never been, and don't know a word of the language spoken.

Well, I have made trips to all three cities that you have mentioned. I had great times in all three. I guess, as in all things, your results will depend a lot on you and what you are really looking for. Just some thoughts:

1. For me, coming from the USA, flights to Colombia were way cheaper.

2. I was lucky and hit all trips when the dollar was very strong vs. The local currency, but that is a consideration.

3. Due to the currency exchange rate when I was there, dining in Kiev was less expensive than Colombia. I have not kept up with prices so I do not know if that is still true.

4. At the time nice lodging was very affordable in both countries.

5. As far as the looks of the women, its personal taste. I like the Ukrainian, thin blondes better. Many love the look of Colombians better.

6. I found the attitudes of the Colombian girls more to my liking. More GFE available from more girls. But I also never felt that a session in Kiev was a waste either!

7. In Bogota and Kiev you will have to do a bit of work to meet the ladies. In Medellin, the Mansion is kind of like a FKK, with ladies on premise.
