Greetings. This a report of my last trip, in February; I was there for 10 days. Before starting with the details, I will just reiterate the wonderful things that have been said about Kiev women. Really, every 30 second your eyes will feast on the sight of an elegantly dressed gorgeous babe. I will not go into a detailed report of every girl I met. I was there for 10 days, so it is a long list and my memory is hazy, but I will describe general patterns and I will try to emphasize the change in the economy.

I had a multi-pronged approach: non-pros, internet pros, RP, bar/disco girls, and I found one more source: shop girls.

Before I got there I had selected several pro girls from the internet and even phoned them up before I got there, to see if the phones were real. As soon as I arrived I started phoning them up. The bullshit followed: no English, the one you like is not available, hang ups, etc. When you agree to something the problem is that the girls pictured are not the ones that show up at your door. I think GIA photos are legitimate, even if photoshoped, but with the rest of the sites it is like playing dice. After refusing 3 times (4 girls-one was a double), I decided to give up for the night. I just do not like turning away girls; they always think they have a right to 20 USD for a taxi (where the fuck are they going? Odessa? And what the hell is wrong with the metro? ! ). I figure they should be paying ME for wasting my time with fake photos, so I sent them away empty handed, but I after 3 times I started to worry that they would send the mafia after me. Anyway, I gave up on that for the rest of the trip.

I had also contacted several regular girls, who were looking for real relationships, supposedly. I am looking for a real relationship, but planning to have as much fun as I can until I get one. The problem is that most girls are only interested on having an expensive dinner or night out with a foreigner, and are not really interested in anything more, either developing a long term relationship or spending the night. You can figure out whether you have any chemistry in the first 5 minutes, but some girls I contacted wanted to have a date for the entire night, and were offended when I hinted that I just wanted to meet for 30 minutes. I had a list of about 20, met about 10, out of which 7 were just party girls, and 3 were potentially interesting. I have kept in touch with all 3 and will visit them again.

At Arena downstairs there are always some girls hanging about. Their prices are ridiculous, of course, but they are willing to negotiate. On a Tuesday I picked up a girl or perhaps 28, and perhaps not the best possible, but certainly attractive enough, for only 70 USD. Has she been dressed more elegantly sexy I would have gone for it. Instead I headed for the River Palace. I just like the process of eying the babes, chatting them up, etc.

Again, River Palace is the ultimate fantasy bar. The RP is full of sexy girls in little miniskirts all willing to go with you for the right price. I just love the atmosphere, even if the prices as too high and I often went home alone. Despite the lagging economy, the girls were starting their bidding at 300 USD for 2 hours, but I got the impression that, compared with the last time I was there, they were quicker to go down to 200 USD. So, 200 USD is probably the actual starting negotiating price. I got one for 1000 UAH (1 USD = 8 UAH at the time), another one for 800 UAH both for a long longer than 2 hours, and a third one for 1500 UAH for the entire night. I think I was at the RP 5 nights out of 10.

During the day, I had the most fun with regular girls: waitresses, shop girls, etc. These girls are more honest, more used to actual work, and more open to actual relationships. There are many other girls who wander the streets in their sexy outfits, but I found that regular girls at shops are actually better and prettier. They might not be dressed as sexily, but when you meet them again later in the night, you will be amazed! Just open the conversation with any question. For instance, I could not figure out how to reload my phone, asked a girl, we talked, met later that day, and the next day too. I also had a great time with one of the waitresses at Pattipa.

At Pattipa and other bars the girls are nice to look at, and if you have some game and a little money, you might be successful, just like anywhere else in the world. , The only difference is that in Kiev the girls are prettier and better dressed than at your home town, and yes, maybe a little more interested in you. The drawback is that they do not speak English so your best compliments, witticisms, and humour are wasted on them. I think it comes out mostly even, except that they are nicer to look at and if you do score, you are more likely to take home a true beauty.

What I really love about going to Kiev is that after a few hours there I walk around with a big smile, and with full confidence. It is like a course on how to be a man. I think I need a refresher course soon!

Well its been a long time since I wrote here, but I would like to share my experiences. I work every month for two-three weeks in Kyiv and have been there many times now. The post credit crisis is definately in effect in Kyiv. But I do still find ukranians rather stubborn who will not acknowledge it the crisis. I have made some great friends in Kyiv and in particular I would like to thank IrishLad for all his great advice and hospitality. He really does live a normal life and I enjoy the times we have been out together. I also would like to say thank you to CrusierD for his advice and insight into Kyiv. As for me I have a steady girlfriend now in Kiev who I am very happy with. I will say for anyone travelling to Kiev the main thing you need to be is yourself. You cannot go into Clubs and throw money about as I have seen many crazy men do by the sight of Girls. The only thing that will happen is security will throw you straight out of the club on your ass. Its that simple. From past experiences I still think the innocence of true Girls in Kyiv is lost. It is getting harder to find the real diamonds who will be true GFE's compared to country such as Belarus. Well thats's all for now.

As an experiment in pre-crisis Kiev a couple years back I put up a fake girl profile together with my girlfriend just to see what kind of response we would get. 95% of the respondees were Ukrainian and wrote novels trying to get her attention, a sprinkling of Turkish and Arabs with the lame "pretty girl/krasivaya devushka" diatribes and a few Europeans mostly offering ridiculous amounts of money. It's all a playground. Play a little and as Irish Lad said, be clear about what you want. If its p4p sex, dont be shy.

Last time I was in Ukraine a couple months back in post-crisis Kiev I paid a girl about $60-70 for a couple of hours. We didnt even talk about price beforehand.
